If the argument is simply, "Which organization is / was more legitimate?" then I think it's fair to say that UFC is more legit.

The whole, "Which organization is / was better?" argument is way more open to interpretation. I loved watching both at the time. However, I could get my casual fan friends together to watch a UFC PPV. I couldn't do that with Pride, nobody else was interested.
