You're kind of difficult to discuss anything with, bc you're all over the place and obviously autistic. Not that there's anything wrong with that, just a little annoying. Still one of my favorite posters

Well, I think this reflects what ppl find entertaining... At the end of the day, they won't be losing years of their brain life for no money... And now, fans love the press conference drama, the theatretics, so it ends up seeming kind of drama ridden in many ways because fans love it and if they can act a certain way because "fighting doesn't matter if they don't have charisma" as some say, fighters will act gladly to earn more than ever, which is still shit compared to what the UFC gets, compared to earning enough but shit as fuck to getting brain damage in the fights... The techniques, abilities, fighting prowess is only getting better, tho the feeling of less soul is more because fans appreciate the narrative, well they do, when old fans liked moreso the fighting in itself...

As long as the ppvs are stacked in depth like 307-312 were/are, I couldn't care less about the mostly weak FNs.

I do wish they still did end of the year ppv as well as memorial weekend though. Those were my favorites. UFC 79, 84, & 92 was my year of introduction into hardcore fandom.

UFC is doing very very well, never did new years.. really that is RIZIN you are thinking of or PRIDE Dana and team take about a month off at this time as usual they are so busy and crazy. Cannot wait for next year!!! Every year!!!

The best UFC card ever, UFC 168 Dec 28th 2013. Teh Chris vs Anderoid Silva 2. Thats close enough to NYE.

If they drop ppv model after inking a huge deal with netflix or prime you'll be saying this is the start of the golden age.
Imo there wont be a new golden age because of one important factor. UFC refuses to build their stars up themselves . For decades they were used to just buy up smaller competition if it got too boring at the top but now thats a problem and UFC themselves always had a deep lack of investing that money.

Pride did a fantastic job with that and some boxing promoters too. People forget that De La Hoya f.e. was a huge part of the initial success of Canelo becoming that famous.

With how much money there is in streaming pretty sure they will survive with lots of money made but just like the movies Netflix etc produces the product suffers from that.

We gotta keep it going, the tradition of UFC is dying.

We should limit it to 3 a year.

Korean Zombie vs Frankie Edgar was last one I believe, it's been this way like three to four years now if not longer.

It definitely plays second fiddle to Boxing these days. That wasn’t always the case.

Usyk secured a $105,000,000 bag for the Fury rematch. That’s an unfathomable amount of money for a UFC fighter.

Dana thinks small, so his end product itself is small. There’s no dimension to the sport at all anymore, and the fighters themselves are kept at subsistence level to make sure Dana has complete control over them.

MMA won’t escape its “backyard wrasslin” image until Dana is gone.

Building up fighters costs money and time. Dana’s lazy ass would rather take the easy route of underpaying them to keep them in line.

He wants them all obedient.

Francis NGannou beat Dana at every level.
