UFC is degrading its product for Jones Stipe

He is a legend and has the record for title defenses in the HW division but I agree he shouldn't be fighting for the belt in 2024 and coming off a loss.

He is the worst example of a “legend” that you could point to in the UFC, second to Jones who disgraced his name so many times he is a weird example of legend now too.

It’s almost like they want to pretend Tommy ain’t the champ and hide Pico forever.

Jones likely has Dana or ufc by balls with some serious dirt on em. He has forced them to deal with reputation and integrity damage so many times. And they have always prioritized Jones over legitimacy

The UFC needs every PPV star they can get, Jones is the closest to a mainstream star they have left.
