Driven by greed. They could still be on Spike keeping that network alive right nowIt’s pretty sad a brand like UFC can’t hold down a network deal for more than 4 years at a time:

Love it or hate it?!
Those technical difficulties have been theorized as being a negotiating tactic lolThe news reports are talking about Dana/UFC anger concerning UFC 313 technical difficulties. I'm sure that's just a pretext.
UFC is dying. For real though. They really are getting way over saturated and more is not better. Pay for cards? I don't even bother pirating at this point. Their product is just bad now. ONE FC is putting on better shows every Friday. For free, on YouTube. The fucked up thing is that those cards are almost ENTIRELY Russian, Middle Eastern, and Thai names yet I (American) recognize more names there each week than I do when I pull up UFC cards.
Spike was the best for me, but then the UFC itself was different back then.Just go back to fuel tv or versus.
I had directv so it was cool. Then again, I was in high school. I didn’t pay for shit all the WEC were free too.Spike was the best for me, but then the UFC itself was different back then.
All of WWE's "premium" content is free with subscription. WrestleMania and all that shit. I'm assuming UFC would be tiered subscriptionsBoth are more of the same. 2 companies willing to burn money to convert to subscribers at any cost. Guess UFC will continue their usual Apex gameplan.
If so, I hope they design the tiers smart rather than greedy. All of WWE's "premium" content is free with subscription. WrestleMania and all that shit. I'm assuming UFC would be tiered subscriptions
Espn contract runs through '25, you'll get your money's worth. Are you fucking kidding me? I just bought ESPN just for the UFC, I knew I should not have done it.
@Substance Abuse well well well, I think SOMEONE owes someone else an apology
Exactly, who cares about fighter pay. They sign a contract so they're clearly aware of their worth. Don't like it, go somewhere else, simple economics. Here we go with the virtue signaling again complaining about fighter pay etc. Jesus Christ, you people on here don’t even support these fighters in the first place.
LoL at thinking anyone would get an apology from a mod.@Substance Abuse well well well, I think SOMEONE owes someone else an apology
