I honestly was hoping that was a video with cool/funny UFC clips clowning on the Soyboys @ Gillette that made that commercial.

Why is it a bad thing they spent marketing money on an objectively positive message rather than another commercial trying to convince you you need a 5 blade razor? All the dorks going out of their way to brag about how they are going to boycott a company because they ran a commercial with the horrifying message of "don't be a bully or harass women" are virtue signaling.

But take that EXACT PATTERN and then substitute any other group with white men and the left is genuinely (and I mean genuinely, not being intentionally obtuse, or trolling, but GENUINELY) baffled by the negative reaction.

If you (or anyone else around here for that matter) could explain what's going on here, I'd sure like to hear it.

Please link the Fox equivalent of "hey men, you can be better" for muslims. Fox gets shit for running misleading or false stories and non stop fear mongering about (pick a minority) under the guise of journalism. Their content is tailor made for their primary demographic of old white people.

Maybe because nobody wants to be preached to by a company that is trying to sell you something?

If you really think it's about the message and not the portrayal and the delivery of that message it's honestly better for you to not comment on things like these because they're clearly going over your head

Agreed. I used to think guy like the moron you are responding to are just being intentionally obtuse, but then I realized that nope, they really are just dumb and as dense as a rock .

The added irony is that people like that would have a nervous breakdown if this "objectively positive " ad was about women or blacks etc

What's wrong with the portrayal? All this outrage about this stupid commercial makes it out as if it's an attack on "being a man" or men in general which is obtuse as fuck and means you either are going out of your way to be offended or you relate with the men portrayed negatively in the video. It clearly shows some men's behavior as bad (bullying, sexual harassment) and others as not bad (stopping bullying and sexual harassment) and its message is "more men should be good".

If an actual equivalent video existed for (other demographic) and people were offended by it it would be just as silly as all the snowflake behavior about this video. But they don't exist and that's just a strawman argument.

Largely we are. But feminists hate men so I wouldn't expect them to understand. When women take over, you get sweden, over run with 3rd world immigrants and a great replacement of the Swedish culture. Weak on crime, everyone is a victim, you're a racist. Etc When men take over, you have Sparta. Men built civilizations. Men are expendable. We can't reproduce. A man's job is to protect a woman. Period. I remember a while back some homeless man tried messing with this woman and I'm minding my own business but I'm wearing my company polo shirt, she doesn't know me at all, she gets behind me and is like help. I tell the homeless guy, who looked like a junkie to back the fuck off while she's hiding behind me. A total stranger. I just get a thank you from the woman and that's it. I just saved her from god knows what, a mugging a sexual assault, who knows. The guy was whacked out of his mind but she decided to get behind me!! Like I'm a shield. That's what we do. They can talk about men assaulting women all over but who do you think protects them from such Men? Yes other men.
