UFC Fight Night 59 draws record high ratings on FS1

And other fighters were complaining that conor is making more money than them after 3 fights.

The UFC couldn't afford 50 commercials in every big football game. They'd never get that return back. Ad's on Playoff games are probably close to 1 million for a 30 second spot.

You actually think Fox charges the UFC for ad time?? Jesus, dude. The show is on Fox. Fox advertises its own shows so people watch them so they can sell the ad time on their own shows to others for money. Do you really not know how this works??

What was the record before that? Regarless, Conor is definitely a star.

Yeah, UFC is all over their top shows list. NASCAR and something else I think popped a rating a while back. It's not a consistent high drawing thing for them.

That's why the UFC puts on so many shows on FS1, tho. They're there to help build this network.

The MLB Playoffs did some pretty huge ratings for FS1!

Gotta love the people coming in just to bad mouth the numbers and post things with higher ratings. That train is never late.

You people really are some of the worst, dumbest fans in all of sports.

While that's true, the numbers were way, way down from before. Why? Because it was on FS1.

People need to understand that FS1 is a real black hole for sports properties. For anything to be watched in high numbers, people pretty much have to know it's gonna happen and tune in. On other channels, the average person could just be on a channel they're on all the time and tune in.

So yeah, while MLB did record high numbers on FS1, they weren't great for MLB playoff standards.

Lol at all the people who said it was a bad idea to have this card on a Sunday and with NFL games. Besmirched.

Gotta say didn't expect it to do THAT good. That Conor-Aldo fight will do big numbers.

And he just got like 200.000 ppv in the fight against Poirier.

Connor is the first fighter in a very long time that I've seen non MMA fans excited about. Promoting this fight during the NFC Championship was genius. Him vs Aldo will be a huge fight.

Pretty soon Zuffa will be paying for acting classes for their top fighters so they can portray a gimmick. It's about to be real life wwe up in here oy vey.

Stupid & simplistic all in one post
Congrats

After this weekend, I'll bank on it that McGregor will be the UFC's biggest draw.
