Nah, you just had two really dumb opinions back to back:
1. Francis left the UFC for an entirely different sport to make his current money. Not another MMA promotion. Apples to oranges comparison, his money isn't coming from PFL and the UFC was paying more than PFL regardless.
2. Now he makes enough in boxing he's refusing to fight for PFL too despite their concessions and contract with him that he'd signed first. Real useful for PFL to have a guy who refuses to fight for them too, just as he refused to fight for the UFC before this.
There was never a UFC pay problem with Francis. Francis just wanted the freedom to leave for boxing and simply never come back, exactly as he's done to PFL. The UFC just wasn't dumb enough to fall for it, nor meek enough to roll over if he did try it like PFL is doing.
