SO...a fight's not getting stopped on this card unless somebody's literally in a coma. Good to know.

The one thing I think boxing gets right is that when a KD happens the ref assesses how fucked up the fighter is instead of just doing an eye test that might be wrong.

I still hate that it breaks up the action though. But all KDs aren't the same.

Yeah, its just the nature of it. You dont know how someone is doing after a knockdown until you look at them. If someone stopped the fight in K1 between Mark Hunt and Cro Cop after Mark got knocked down by a headkick, for example, that wouldve been a huge mistake.

I dunno if you could put 8-counts in MMA though, i feel like it would stifle grappling.

But they just fly in the same old American judges for these cards.
