Its crazy to me that the average card is so bad these days that this is considered a "stacked card".

This card is a 7/10 at best, top 2 fights are the only ones I really care about tbh.

And that's okay. Liking a card is subjective—everyone has their favorite fighters to watch.

I get the nostalgia factor, but the reality is that the sport has grown, and there are more athletes in the UFC than ever before. They need to keep up with the demands.

Of course, not every card is going to be like UFC 100 or even UFC 158 (my favorite card of all time).

It's all about supply and demand. That’s just how life works.

In today's ages, this is a stacked card.

Yeah that's great card, if it stays together. Seems weird to have Gane in a three round fight.

He couldn't been in a 5 rounder against Tom for the interim sir, but he was doing something else, and decided against it.

Nah UFC 298, 299, & 300 were stacked in today's age, not this.

Also there being more athletes in the UFC than ever before is a massive negative for the sport. Hopefully this lawsuit can shake things up to better the sport.

Could've done a Sphere card with a nod to Mexico, Latin American's and MMA history, like they claim is the intended outcome:

-Anthony Hernandez vs Paulo Costa prelim main event.. next generation of Mexican American born fighters fighting the "old Guard" of the Brazilian born fighters


-Nick Diaz vs Jorge Masvidal ppv opener.. incorporate Pride and Strikeforce because of the two fighters, the "beginning" of an era


-Dominic Cruz vs Henry Cejudo 2 2nd fight on ppv card.. incorporate Cruz as first UFC BW Champ and Cejudo as first Mexican American Combat Sports Triple Champ, the second stage of an era


-Yair Rodriguez vs Cub Swanson 3rd fight on ppv card.. popular veteran Mexican born fighter vs popular veteran Mexican American born fighter


-Diego Lopes vs Brian Ortega 4th fight on ppv card.. next generation of Brazilian born and Mexican American born fighters


-Ronaldo Rodriguez vs Brandon Moreno ppv co main event.. New school Mexican born fighter vs Old school Mexican born fighter, passing of the torch

Main and co are both 10/10 fights! Then the rest of the card is pretty stacked, although I can see a lot of the fights being a little boring. For that reason I give it a 8/10.

Although if Chimaev drops out (which is a real possibility) that sinks it to 6.5.

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing because the guys most likely to pull out are not the ones I'm most interested in watching.

Let’s be honest: the next two PPV cards aren’t much to write home about (307 looks great tho but goddamn 306 is awful), but man, UFC 308 looks amazing.

However, there’s also a lot of potential for pullouts.
