I'm one of these cats that likes most metal genres but not really slow metal (unless it's SUPER heavy, and also, not that slow).

I started with mainstream metal, Metallica, Rammstein, that bag, then moved into melodeath like Soilwork, In Flames, Children of Bodom, then into stuff like Cult of Luna (slower, but wall of noise appeals), then whatever, pretty consumed everything and stopped understanding what genre was what as long as it ticked certain boxes that I'm not even sure what they are.

Now even enjoy EBM, noise, grind, stuff that borders on pop, actual pop, as long as it has a certain energy and aura, I'm on board. I can't do bubblegum anything, no rap/hip hop, or anything that sounds kinda lazy.

So yeah. Full gamut from Deaf Havana right through to Napalm Death and on again to punk music like Soft Play. As long as they mean it, they're good at it, they want it, there's half a chance I'll like it lol but my centre is generically metal, particularly European.

If you want good slow heavy then Crowbar is the ticket! thats where i draw the line. there are some genres i just flat out don't like

Doom Metal - just too slow and boring and depressing
Tech Death metal - I don't want to listen to blast beats for 40 min straight. I get it you can play fast. and just annoying riffs
Black metal - I don't hate it there is some good stuff but that is a genre that is way over saturated but the good ones are good like Emperor for example.
Grindcore - Used to like it it when I was younger and again there are a few standouts I guess it's like death metal for me only the old school bands do it right but now it's just annoying now to my ears.

I think I can find a few gems in any genre but ones like these I get super picky in what I like.
