Festival of decisions in Baku. Horrible product from a horrible company. 100k finish bonuses need to be added but then Dana couldn't give the money to young influencers to pretend to be his friend.

Now let's talk about the real issue...

Anyone that scored round 3 for Bahamondes....
Fiziev 30-27 via winning all aspects of MMA scoring clearly.

Hill never moves laterally though. He has always moved in straight lines and caught people with long shots. That 1st round is how he always fights, he just never got Khalil to back up towards the cage to catch a counter.

He can if it's a necessity, at least somewhat. Still, when you mix the damage to his legs and Khalil dictating the pace and space, while hitting him from distance, Hill could only really counter. And when Hill found success? It was only when Khalil got inside more and started using his hands, opening up those opportunities for him.

Looks mediocre at best the only way you can call that great is grading it on a very generous curve because 2025 has been the drizzling shits

Seriously. Great main event, then we have two midget fights, a fight between ageing LW gatekeepers and a BW prospect who got destroyed in his last fight. And this is supposedly the marquee card of 2025

I jumped in on the main card for the 165 lb catch weight fight. Anything worth going back and watching?

Hill moved like he always moves... poorly.

Alex caught him for the same reason. He trips over his own feet out there when you get close to him.

Thanks for the Play by Play, Sherbros. I really appreciate Hill's shock that he lost this fight as it was being announced. Enjoy your weekend.

Wasn't a fan of this event.

Sadykhov vs. Motta was fun and I'm glad they got all the bonus money.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s first trip to Azerbaijan was a memorable one as fans were treated to a potential fight of the year at UFC Baku. Nazim Sadykhov and Nikolas Motta delivered a barnburner for the ages and were rewarded handsomely for it.

Nazim rallied from certain defeat to stop Motta in the second round (4:17) in a bout so legendary both men were honored with ‘Performance of the Night’ and ‘Fight of the Night’ honors and a $100,000 bonus.

Sadykohv and Motta started trading from the start of the bell, much to the delight of the fans at the Baku Crystal Hall. Motta, a Brazilian slugger with a 67% knockout ratio, threw bombs with reckless abandon. Sadykohv, a proud native of Baku, refused to give ground and gave as good as he got, but his night was nearly finished after eating a picture-perfect left hook to the liver.

Motta moved in like a beast hunting prey and pounded Sadykohv’s body with hooks and uppercuts. Sadykohv dropped to a knee and shelled up, causing referee Lukasz Bosacki to inch closer to the action, but thank the MMA gods that he didn’t intervene.

Bosacki’s patience gave Sadykohv enough time to regain his composure and fight like his life depended on it. You could barely hear the bell because of the way fans were cheering for violence at the end of the first round.

Sadykohv and Motta came out in the second and continued their hellacious display. Motta would land and flurry, then Sadykohv would answer with his own punches. The two traded like roc-em-sock-em robots until Sadykohv had enough. With Motta’s back against the cage, the “Black Wolf” unleashed a flurry of hooks that landed flush on Motta’s chin, crumpling him to his knees with less than a minute in the round (4:17).

With the win, Sadykohv (11-1-1, 4-0-1 UFC) secured his second straight win and put himself in the running for the Fight of the Year. He showed unfathomable grit, but needed the proper dance partner to pull it out, and Motta more than delivered on his end. Fans who watched it live were in awe, and they appreciated the sacrifice from both fighters.

OOF, the fighters might have put in more effort than last week but it was still a rough card with too many fouls, too many decisions, shit judging and shit reffing.
Been a rough couple of weeks for sure - 3/10.

Well, you were right that he wasn't able to finish Hill but boy did Khalil beat the shit out of him.
Yeah Khalil put on a clinic. Disappointing performance from Hill. I think Hill Vs Jan and Rountree vs Reyes are the next fights for them. Jan and Hill are former champs on losing skids and Reyes and Rountree are coming off of dominant wins.

Nah, I think Hill has proved he's a stepping stone. Feed him to Carlos Ulberg. Jan vs Khalil should be made, as it's both a rightful sideways step for Rountree and a winnable fight for Jan (who I thought won against Ulberg so I don't consider him skidding, just inactive as fuck, under a fight a since 2018)

Dana is losing his mind gives Sadykhov and Motta 100K each

lol proves how shitty this card was. lol
