That cut on Volk does not look good. Almost got like a yellow tinge to it wtf

gonna be hard to live up to the last fight. Hoping it somehow out-does it though.

Leaning Volk but if Yair lands something out of nowhere and wins, wouldn't shock me.
Rooting for Yair but it would indeed shock me

If Yair wins, I’m thinking it’s an early ko. Volk is the superior, stronger, more complete fighter.

absolutely he did, 50-45 volkanovski, islam did absolutely nothing while volk was taking the fight to him.

I don't necessarily disagree. I dislike wrestling or BJJ heavy guys a lot of the time because sometimes it seems they win a fight for just holding a dominant position, but not actually doing anything.

The cut is a little worse than I thought. Thankfully it is under the eye

Volk's punches come from a land down under Australia. Once Yair feels the power at this weight class, his spinning shit will come much less often. I'd be willing to bet thats the gameplan.

Volk has to put the pressure on early make Yair uncomfortable. Seal the deal, climb the Goat ladder.

Man after all of this craziness we still have this fight. This card has delivered, so nice after what was mostly a down period the past couple months.
We were really calling normal cards great because they had good results.
Seeing this card has me feeling like a kid in awe again, high level MMA with tons of action.

Yair Rodriguez has a solid chance here in his improvements in boxing, his diverse kicks, killer instinct, and dynamic ground game.

That said, Volk is one of the most skilled mma fighters in the world and might clinch clear FW GOAT eventually.

He can fight at an elite level anywhere the fight goes, has great game plans, is crazy durable, and has looked better each fight.

While he is capable to win this fight standing on the ground he can really test Yair’s bottom game that can be exploited if he can anticipate the sub and sweep attempts.

The card has been so damn good. Let’s cap this off with another good scrap.
