UFC 270: N'Gannou vs. Gane

It's a fight that could go either way imo. People think Ngannou has no subtlety to his game, but his feints and traps vs Stipe were actually solid in the rematch. Gane is the real deal too though. The card overall blows, but the ME is as good a HW fight as we've had in a long time.

It’s a great fight but the line reflects a ton of recency bias.

I'd tend to agree. I see it as close to a pick 'em but Gane got steamed to being a moderate favorite now. Can't see paying juice on him. Dog or pass at this point imo. Gun to my head I'm still picking Gane to win but it's so close there's no strong lean for me.

Gane advantages everywhere, but Ngannou fist go boop. so obv Ngannou right.
either way no matter who wins it'll look like it should have been the rightful huge fav. Gane masterclass 5 rounder 50-45 (I think theres some ITD possibility with TKO on a tired francis, not a tko in the sense where he gets hurt and drops more so, he's so tired he can barely move and gane is raining down on him) or of course everyone's fav ko puncher ford escort blah blah blah and every laughs and says Ngannou dog money was crazy. I am hyped, I want Gane to win.

Yeah it looks that way. I think Ngannou is still a bit bigger, but the size difference just seems way less significant than I thought it would be.

Yeah between the two, I don't think there will be a significant strength delta. Gane for the most part overwhelmed Lewis in the clinch though that was likely significantly owed to his superior positional understanding.
