UFC 232 Early PPV Numbers

Suck it, haters. Deal with it. Jon "GOAT" Jones bless.

Really good number. It's not like JJ was GSP or Conor status and I think people forget that a lot

B...b...b...but 14 sherdoggers boycotted the PPV !

Better than expected i think.

Will UFC 235 break those numbers? Somehow I feel it won't, cause Woodley/Usman is nowhere near a draw on the level of Cyborg/Nunez.

Jones is a draw no question. Still, he an asshole.

The talk I saw was 900K at one point I believe. 700K is well below that. And Meltzer is always a reliable early source.

On his return GSP at 217 sold 850K.

Looks like people are getting a little sick of Jones*. Of course 700K is still more than everybody else except McGregor or GSP will sell right now. And it’s a real drop from his last 2 fights ( 860K and 800K).

If Lesnar returns I’m not sure if he will still sell a million.

All in all a little surprised at the number. But very happy it’s lower than it could have been.

Where are all the people who say Jon Jones isnt a draw unless he fights cormier now???

Where are you?

It certainly made the last minute cluster fuck worth it.
If you think Cyborg and Nunes main eventing would do roughly 350k (her fight with Holly did in that area and another PPV vs an unknown did 250-280k ***) anything over about 500k was money above the move cost.
200k is about $7.5-8.0m extra in rev.

Cyborg made about $1.8m for that loss according to Dave

*** I don't have numbers with me but it was either 250 or 280k
