Really cant see Romero win this fight. Even if he takes Weidman down i dont think he can keep him there for long. And if the fight is a standup battle Weidman is goin to win easily. Romero`s gas tank is not the best that is for sure, even if he takes the first i cant see him take one more. He will start ti slow down in the late 2nd or in the 3rd and he is going to be very easy task for Chris. Not going to be suprprised if Chris takes the third with 10-8
If e remeber corectly Wiedman was crushing Rockhold apart before that spinning shit he threw. Romero is tough fighter that is for sure, but Weidman is more well rounded, more technical, younger and faster. Weidman DEC is my choice for now.
Lmao i stopped reading at 'If i remember correctly Weidman was crushing Rockhold before the spinning kick' The rest of your post is utter shite too. Giving Romero no chance? Lol

Does anyone have any opinion or know who Thiago Alves is working with to get his weight down? Red flag for me if it's dolce

Rewatched some tape on Alves and Miller. I'm swichting my pick to Alves. Miller hasn't been very impressive and I feel like Alves is a tougher opponent than Millers last couple of fights. I'm not worried about Millers grappling at all.
So far I have 0.5u on Miller by decision @ 5.00, which I don't feel terrible about but I'm going to throw 2 or 3 units on Alves ML after the weighin.

Pretty terrible post man, no offense

Weidman wasn't crushing Rockhold at all, his only wins are over washed up old fighters plus he's coming off neck surgery. He's not faster than Romero either. No idea how you can be that confident

Ariel Helwani just stuck his head in on Luke Thomas' live chat, live from the media room at whatever hotel the fighters are staying at in NYC and said that Thiago Alves hasn't been working with Mike Dolce in a long time and that he was currently 170 pounds less than 48 hours before the Friday morning weigh-ins, so about 14 pounds to cut in that time.

Im on Yoe as well at these odds, put a unit down on his Ko line

USADA or not, Yoel will be way stronger than Chris and will basically ragdoll him when they wrestle, he obviously has a lot more power on the feet and Weidman's style combined with the fact the fight is at MSG will play into Yoel's powerful counter game

At current odds (+325) its a fairly enough probable way the fight will go to warrant a unit

That's kind of a lot tbh

Good to know
Still afraid to pull the trigger on his KO line, gonna have to wait for the weigh ins for sure

Could this be because Alves is off juice? I read that huge weight loss happens when you go off steroid cycle. Now is USADA time. Seems like perfect time to "lose weight"

man was chook wearing heels? size difference looked substantial.

I like Alves too, I'll bet after weigh-in if he looks fine, also Alves by KO +300. Miller was about to retire until he was diagnosed with Lyme disease, he is now under treatment, yet how can I trust him?

I didn't know that until yesterday, I read something about the disease and it can damage the joints, your movement, your memory, your sleep, and the list goes on...

Alves parted ways with Dolce a few weeks ago. Something about being frustrated and the weight not coming off the way he said it would.

I get that Alves making 155 is a major concern, but I feel like you guys are inflating it a bit. He's always been a small framed WW in my eyes. Muscled, yes. But large frame? No. When he announced dropping to 155 I thought finally. If Burkman can drop to 155 multiple times I think Alves can do it no problem.

Im leaning betting Alves but waiting till friday morning for obvious reasons.

You can trust him when you consider his performance vs Lauzon was his best in a long time. At least thats how I feel.

During the era where he was a top 5 guy at WW he missed weight a few times so its normal to have concerns despite his frame
