Miller vs Alves seems like a fight that has been touched on a bit, but not in detail. If I recall it seems like most are on Miller, is the thoguht that he can outstrike Alves or get the fight to the mat? My first thought is that Alves (depending how he looks at 155 and after fighting very irregularly) would have an advantage on the feet and had good enough tdd to keep it there. Are most thinking due to the weight cut and long layoffs there are just too many flags on Alves to justify betting him as a favorite?

Im happy using JJ as parlay fodder after watching tape on both her and KK. KK was out struck by HJC in r1 but seemed to slow down from r2 onwards and Rose out struck her soundly in r1 but like HJC seemed to slow down from r2 onwards. R3 between KK and Rose was up for grabs too until Roses's failed take down. KK is good in the thai plum nice knees and elbows but she is sooo hittable at range. Even Randa's telegraphed right hand was landing more often than not. JJ does not slow down if anything she gets stronger as the fight goes on. I think she pieces KK up here after taking a round to find her range.

I really want to choose Mcgregir but the fight is closer than the betting lines say it is. Leaving Vegas today but need to decide to place this bet.

disagree on alves for sure. first cut to 155, he had trouble making 170 at times. prolly off the sauce. very inactive. miller gonna have local support, seems to have righted his ship... miller almost NEVER loses rd 1, either
 
Miller can strike too was all over lauzon and possibly took r1 off cerrone. Alves defo coming off sauce if he can now make 155. Cheating bastard

he did take rd 1 vs cerrone.. i'm serious i think miller's won rd 1 like the last 12 fights, think diaz in '12 or something was last time he didn't win the first?

alves slow starter sometimes, too.. was against mein.. was against condit..
 
Defo on WB against Woodley. Just watched Woodley against Gastelum and Rory. Rory backed him up the whole fight and Gastelum had him backed up most of the fight. He looked a bit better against Gastelum but Rory's style is closer to WB's than Gastelum's. Woodley doesn't use much movement at all he just has explosive bursts. He is far to content being stuck against the fence with his feet welded to the floor. I think WB picks him apart and eventually forces a stoppgage. Woodley could win his right hand is an awesome weapon but that's all he really has in his arsenal stand up wise. He has occasional bursts of aggression but his lack of movement and volume is all to do with conserving his cardio. WB needs to be careful especially in r1 but if he back Woodley up which he should have no problem doing i think it's only a matter of time until he lands a fight ending combo.

I might be capping this fight so wrong but I see Conor losing and losing pretty handily. I see a middle round finish for Eddie. I know conor is dangerous but I see Eddie playing it safe and grinding. He's a lot more strength and power than Nate Diaz(even with Nate being 300lbs) in the clinch and I did not like how Conor got stuck in there with Diaz.
