Kk has bad defense yet she moves in more angles whereas jj sticks the jab out and moves in straight lines
 
Rose was out striking KK at range. I think JJ batters her at range. KK needs to work from the clinch but i dont even know if she has an advantage there.
 
Anyone think Pennington has improved enough to keep this standing and outbox tate for a decision?

Not really. tate isnt really a boxer. she will box just long enough to implement her plan. i think tate owns her with tds and clinching.

If HH cant make a boxing and rangey gameplan work then Penn def cant. Penn is way slower with worse footwork.

yeah completely agree with that, I think tate is great value at 1.59 ( -170) but I need to rewatch their fights, I actually don't remember that pennington subbed andrade with a rnc, but I remember how crap she looked fighting bethe(who looked crap too) but she has a few sub wins so a sub prop might be worth taking as a hedge depending on the price
 
I think pennington's worst quality as a fighter is her lack of athleticism, and against higher ranked fighters it's going to be evident. she has improved for sure though and is a pretty consistent fighter which makes it a bit easier too predict the outcome imo
 
Yeah I hadn't watched any tape and couldn't recall if Rocky had decent tdd or not. I agree though even if she does she doesn't have the athleticism to keep Tate from getting in close and taking it to the ground. Might parlay Tate with WB.
 
Guessing most are just passing on the Natal/Boetsch fight, but I think Boetsch might actually have some value as a dog. Think he can keep it standing and has more power. Never really been impressed with Natal

Have quite a bit on Rashad at +190 as well. I get he is pretty shot, but Kennedy hasn't fought in two years and is also 37. Rashad should have a pretty significant speed advantage, think he can take a decision.
 
Pennington is reliable as it gets for wmma but cant see her stopping the td.
 
i could see her stuffing the odd one, but over 3 rounds I don't think she can withstand all of them. she may find it hard to get back to her feet also if she does get taken down. Could be wrong but isn't she a little bit bigger than tate? that could help her if so.
miesha is pretty consistent also which is why i don't get the odds, bookies could just be overrating raquel's 3 fight win streak which is a lot rarer in wmma. or it could just be that ppl are wondering how miesha will rebound from nunes demolishing her. probably the latter i guess.

think a few ppl are on boetsch here? I quite like natal in this one though, I cannot imagine boetsch going to a close decsion with whitaker, or beating uriah hall at this point in his career, natal should have more confidence and has a vastly better record than boetsch over the last few years, who by comparrison has been finished 5 times in the last 4 years, wheras natal has been finished 3 times in his whole career. natal has the age advantage also, and I just think he's on a different level than guys that have stopped tim lately, like ed herman in january..

admittedly I haven't watched tape yet or put much thought into how they match up stylistically, but it's a tough fight for tim imo

To be fair, HH made it work almost the entire fight until one slip up at the end (well, and in rd 1 Tate had success).

But agree that HH is far better from range than Penn anyway.

Penn is like the edson barboza of wmma... cosistently good performances, should always be top 5ish but never champ.
