I thought KK won both but will agree both were close. But styles do make fights. KK can probably let her hands go more vs JJ since no worries about being taken down.

JJ should be favored but I think this will be a competitive fun standup fight.

I thought the Rose fight was a clear 29-28 for KK. I was very suprised when they announced it as a split. I don't see how you could give Rose round 2 or 3.

Ken Flo said that Karolina has the advantage on the ground and would be smart to test Joanna's grappling. Not sure what he is basing this on but he has a very good record of picking fights this year.

jj did submit kk in that amateur fight they had but I guess kk has more subs on her record

Man now that I finally got through the 4 pages of JB and SBJJ playing "who's the better psychologist" it looks like we are back to talking fights .

Miller vs Alves seems like a fight that has been touched on a bit, but not in detail. If I recall it seems like most are on Miller, is the thoguht that he can outstrike Alves or get the fight to the mat? My first thought is that Alves (depending how he looks at 155 and after fighting very irregularly) would have an advantage on the feet and had good enough tdd to keep it there. Are most thinking due to the weight cut and long layoffs there are just too many flags on Alves to justify betting him as a favorite?

IMO its just a matter of who wins the decision. The chances of a finish either way are very unlikely IMO. I do like KK dec. line. and of course JJ dec. is most likely.

I really dont understand how can you give KK a chance against JJ. Joana is a fucken beast and KK has never fought 5 rounds and for me this is a serious phisycal and mental disadvantage. I def think JJ can finish her in 4 or 5 and the lines are pretty solid.

I disagree, the difference in skill is really evident. It's like DJ at flyweight. He's clearly more skilled. At lower classes it's easier for a clearly more skilled fighter to reign too due to the lack of flash KO's etc
