UFC 204 - Bisping vs Hendo II - England

Font is not really athletic and explosive. He has 2 ufc wins against rejects. Explosivness helped perez out of those leg locks. Font has long skinny legs isn't it easier to sub? Ian in front of home crowd also I think he will be extra horny to get this win in England. Fon't odds garbage tho I agree not gonna lay any money on him

Possibly Font. Entwistle is garbage, but Font at -3xx? No thank you.

Ukram pointed out how mma oddsbreakers guys said Edwards had better one punch KO power than Tumenov (lol at that), but I also got a good laugh out of them saying 'Font should be good enough to not get leglocked'. Based off what? Those dudes suck, seriously lol. Has Font ever even had a leglock attempted on him in his career?

Ultimately i'll parlay 'itd' for that fight with something else, but I won't be surprised at Font getting caught and I definitely won't risk it at -3xx
Can't parlay font at that price (itd sounds better), wouldn't wanna parlay him anyway, unless you wanna be a pussy and hedge with Ian sub. Davey Grant looks good for parlays.

Marc Diakiese looks beyond shredded

I would be careful betting against hometown fighters. Even if the skills are not matched equally fighting in front of ownm people gives some extra superpowers. Alcantara is a decision machine and I could see a potential robbery.

So who is our Smolka/santos in this card? I think I know the answer... it is mousasi. Don't put moose in your parlays. Mousasi is a good matchup for Vitor as he likes to keep it standing. Vitor's gas tank is what it is but i could see him stealing maybe 2 rounds. Mousasi doesn't pressure too much with takdowns and volume. Vitor can play his own game here. I definitely can see Vitor winning by decision.

Vitor looks dead off the juice. Mousasi will take him down and finish him like Weidman and Jacare did.

Watched tape on martins and santos

Tough and similar match up with both Brazilian guys

Martins
-bjj black belt (world champ)
-32 years old, 28-7- 13 kos/3subs)

I liked his fast hand speed counters and ko power against islam in his last fight, but he is smart will even take a round off (likely 2nd) to have a better r3, hit some nice level changes with take downs, but he is more prone to strike then go for a submission attempt.

Santos
-4th degree bjj black belt
-7x bjj world champ
-Tuf brazil winner
-36 years old, 15-3 record

Santos has some nice leg kicks, he has been trying to improve his output more lately and it has shown.
Nice long jab, we know he has power in his hands too he knocked out the cocky kevin lee in his last fight. Santos always uses his bjj skill set, looking for take downs and locking in submissions.

Santos is more likely to look for subs, while martins the ko but they are both pretty well matched in bjj (black belts) So I reckon Martins avoids the ground specialist in Santos, he is just another few level above him in bjj imo, I think he looks to stand and bang here.

Both look consistently for that counter right as guys come in and santos likes to land that long jab and leg kick, so I reckon martins with the slightly better hand speed and better ko ratio will counter and succeed.

Pick is: Martins su

Cause hes going to win :D

You won't catch me betting Struve - even if the line was +110. He isn't even a glass cannon....just plain glass. I am a Struve fan of old and love watching him fight but not gonna bet on his flaky ass.

Martins better standing up

If he was +110 vs Danny O you still wouldn't bet him?! That's a bit too far lol but I get your point

I'm ready, they were looking at me after my performance, excited to showcase my skills, my last two fights were a minute, I was in the biggest show in europe (BAMMA), ASkren have our own paths

Started when I was 17, used to work on the railway, I got into a street fights as a kid

I hope you are not being serious lol, Vitor winning a decision against Mous would be like getting hit by lightning twice.

camp has been excellent, has good hands and kicks, my distance is at the right place, he's dangerous in the first round, bring the fight to him, if you pressure him, he can't do anything, age, conditioning, strength is on my side, I can fight his style anyday, Blackzilians don't train the ground game, we've trained before, They told me to be exciting and I got a kick in my face, so I'm not going to be exciting, I'm just going to win, I wasn't looking to go toe to toe with Santos, not doing anything more than is necessary, I want to be in control the whole fight, I will go first, put my pressure, my pace, I won't go backward, I'm already training in that timezone

Wouldnt touch struve except for a betsafe line like +175 against bf!

I get your point but this is different and I never bet smolka for the record. Two losing weeks thanks to Santos and Brooks. both were injured during their fights, I'd still pick them if they were to rematch.

Also have Gilbert Burns to thank for my losses, I heard Robin Black on the Fight Network saying that Alex Ricci told him that Gilbert Burns striking is looking really good and I ate that up thinking I had some sort of inside info (so stupid), plus I was picking Burns to win and wasn't all that impressed with MP.

Massive on Bisping, Mousasi. Hendo's right hand makes me more nervous than anything Vitor has got left. Although both are stil dangerous and this is MMA. I'm well aware of the risk I take but I'll only regret it if I lose.

Pickett - Alcantara is a southpaw, I've only fought one my whole career, it's a big difference, tricky, I don't have a strict gameplan, I had so much pressure in my last fight, my confidence was low, everyone was asking if I was retiring, I had demons in my head, affected my fight, without that I would have finished him within 2 rounds, I'm still doing well in the gym, and I wont my last fight, don't want to retire yet, I've been coaching for years, About the timezone, I don't want to over think it too much, a late night fight makes my performance anxiety go on that much longer, he's dangerous, comes out strong, but they starts to fade, I need to take him into deep waters, try not to take damage
