I dont think you can moan about Tumenov's price. Edwards has beaten three very low level UFC guys who have all been cut. He lost to Claudio who is basically a bjj only guy and Edwards has pretty low output. Fightmetric backs this up 2 slpm. You are not going to decision Tumenov with low output. Tumenov dusted Jouban who is a top fighter and massacred Dwyer. He beat Larkin in a close fight too and Larkin is basically a better version of Edwards. Larkin ate a head kick somehow in that fight, Dwyer nearly died from one and Jouban blocked it but it still hurt him and led to his defeat. Even Musoke is probably a better version of Edwards and he got smashed last two rounds. -250 for me is acceptable parlay fodder. I think Edwards can probably have a long UFC career, but he has had favourable match ups besides Usman so far. He also needs to change up his training camp potentially. He may be the best in his gym.

Tumenov would dust Pawlak, Seth, Claudio and Waters in one round. Not decision two of them and lose to Claudio. Waters even gave Edwards some problems.
Yeah I agree with you for the most part and I'm picking Tumenov but still I don't like the price, I do think Musoke and Larkin are better than Edwards of course but Tumenov didn't dominate them, they were competitive fights. I do think this fight goes to a decision, Edwards has never been finished, he's young and he trains at AKA which means his wrestling (along with everything else) is always improving. I have not been all that impressed with Tumenov's TDD even though it's like 70%+. If Leon can get a couple reactive takedowns (not saying he will) he could steal this on the score cards because the British have known to favor their countrymen. But the most likely scenario is Tumenov decision IMO,i just can't get with that price, thats what it comes down too.

Big fan of Tumenov though, love how he goes to the body and he's got sneaky headkicks he mixes into his combo's, I'd like to see him move to a better camp, he's got so much potential.

will be really interesting to see vitors body at the weigh-ins, expecting him to look worse then before

and vitor pulling guard against jacare propably wasnt his smartest move

Aka? I looked on his twitter and looks to me like he trained at home.

Maybe he knew he was done, pulled guard and hoping to get subbed quick..

UFC just released a documentary about Bisping (not Countdown)

Yeah I have not studied for this fight, im just going off the top of my head, I know he's trained there before. I'm assuming you are big on Tumenov?

Hey guys, I need som advice.

Just won a 5U free bet by picking last weeks best bet (JFL dec), if I win i get the money back (free 5U that is). What should I play it on? It has to be this card, and they only have lines for ME and the ML&O/U for the other top two fights. I dont wanna play the Bisping ME since it feels to safe, but maybe Bisping [email protected], under [email protected] or Fight does not start round [email protected]. I have to post it to them in about 14 hours...

I wouldn't bet 5u on anything on these current lines

Its a free bet, I get the money back if I lose it, but I have to post it by tomorrow... Any other ideas? The over in OSP-Manuwa is looking pretty nice at 2.30...

I think your analysis is pretty one sided here.

Edwards lost to 2 grinding wrestlers, silva who dropped down from 185 to 170, and Usman a world class wrestler who might be championship material. Most media scored the loss to Silva for edwards, and if you look at Mma decisions it was a weird situation where 2 of 3 judges gave him the 1st and 2nd, but all 3 said he lost the third so he lost the dec. He is the only person to take a round off Usman yet, that says a lot to me and is more impressive than losing to alcantara.

When edwards has lost it is because of his ground game, which he has made huge improvements on. He switched his camp to AKA, for a few fights and his grappling really changed. I don't think he trained at AKA this time, can't find it on twitter, but he did train with Breese. Has tumenov focused on his grappling holes?

I actually think edwards might be able win with his wrestling, he at this point has a grappling advantage imo. Tumenov was just exposed big time in the grappling. They are both high level strikers imo, edwards has more power and tumenov has more volume.

yeah no rest for the wicked, not gonna lie 3-4 hours sleep and dead eyes/head on sunday don't feel good but use to it!

I felt completely battered yesterday, raced all day Saturday with a shitty cold then ufc all night I got to bed at 6.45am then was up at 10.45am had to leave for work early today as went into London but only got my head down at 11.30 last night.

Can't believe the Manchester card finishes at 6.00am I think that might fuck up some fighters who travel over to the uk and can't adjust
