Crime Tx school district wants to balance Holocaust books with opposing views

Like banning progressive curriculum in schools?

racist teachings like crt?

whats next? you wanna hire kkk or white supremacists to teach their curriculum about race and race relations?

we shouldn't be afraid to discuss anything

People are free to discuss whatever they want. But school isn't for bullshit like conspiracy theories and religion, as much as the religious right wishes it were. It's for education.

Can you give me an example of racist CRT?

Or the example of 1619 inaccuracies I asked you for?

if that was true many lefty professors would be unemployed right now.
HUGE difference between college professors and public school teachers. Like come on man you really just don't give a shit as long as you score points smh

Can you give me an example of racist CRT?

ppl are not viewed as individuals but members of different conflicting groups. all the focus is on that group identity and power struggle between "oppressor" (white) and "oppressed" (black/minority)

oppressed are thought to see themselves as victims/victimized no matter what

oppressors are thought to have a collective guilt no matter what

Or the example of 1619 inaccuracies I asked you for?

entire "project" is an opinion piece full of historical inaccuracies

one of them is the claim that slavery was "capitalist venture" and for that reason "new orleans have denser concentration of banking capital than new york city".

That high level Jewish banking institutions purposely developed contracts and loans to the Nazi war machine for the purpose of extending the war, guaranteeing not only favorable reconstruction deals, but almost assured a future Israeli State due to the political fallout of such atrocities committed against the Jews.
Those cunning Jews.

The administrator who was in charge of curriculum told teachers they have to provide books giving an opposing view of the holocaust because the anti CRT law (House Bill 3979) requires teachers provide different views when discussing controversial and debated issues.

It's not the administrator's fault, it's the anti CRT law that is forcing her to do this.

Didn't know the holocaust was a debated issue.

Texas high school debate topics list for 2022:
Creationism vs Theory of evolution
Earth: Flat or round?
Death penalty: Morally justified or state sanctioned murder?
Bigfoot: Real or fake?
Abortion: Womans right or murder?
The moon: Earths largest orbiting satellite or base for reptillian invasion army?

Remember there is good people on both sides.

Seeing as how buddy buddy America was with Nazi Germany around the time of the Hindenburg Disaster and how they buried them with full honors.... I'm not really surprised.

I think this is the relevant part of the Bill:

"teachers who choose to discuss current events or widely debated and currently controversial issues of public policy or social affairs shall, to the best of their ability, strive to explore such issues from diverse and contending perspectives without giving deference to any one perspective;"

So by using the Holocaust as an example she is implying it is either widely debates or currently controversial. The bill doesn't say you need to use opposing viewpoints to teach the Holocaust otherwise.

Seems to be more fake news that got copy/pasted on like every media site, which is standard reporting for our shit media. Looks to be another far left school administrator who threw a tantrum after a teacher was reprimanded for pushing CRT "abolish white people" books on 4th graders, which the administrators didn't do and were overruled by the school board, and a few days later threw her fit and said that if you can't verbally abuse children for being white, they must want you to teach pro nazi books, because of course in her mind, there's nothing in between "fuck white people" and being pro holocaust.

This is what happens when highly paid activist administrators increase at greater than 7x the rate of students.

State senator Bryan Hughes (R.), who wrote his chamber's version of H.B. 3979, denied that the bill would require educators to offer books preaching Holocaust denial. "That's not what the bill says," Hughes told NBC News.

A spokeman for Texas State Teachers Association, a teachers' union, also denied that the bill would require teachers take such measures.

The House Bill calls for opposing views to debatable and controversial issues. Some would argue that the Holocaust is such an issue. Some would argue slavery is too.

“Teachers are literally afraid that we’re going to be punished for having books in our classes,” an elementary school teacher said. “There are no children’s books that show the ‘opposing perspective’ of the Holocaust or the ‘opposing perspective’ of slavery. Are we supposed to get rid of all of the books on those subjects?”

Republicans who support the House Bill who also claim the bill does not require opposing view of the Holocaust are showing bias, because they alone want to decide what is and is not a debatable and controversial issue.
