Crime Two Minnesota Lawmakers Shot

Is this 1200 post thread the topic every liberal not the forum claimed we ignored?

It will be interesting to see if the Charlie Kirk shooter has a similarly obvious background. People are saying he had been becoming "more political" - but I guess we will see more as time goes on

I struggle to imagine why a conservative extremist would off Kirk....

The claim was you guys were ignoring it in that thread. That’s because a bunch of posters were, claiming that there are no right wing nutters committing political violence.
Do we know Boelter's motivation for these killings?

He had a list of pro choice political figures, politician, doctors, and clinics. He had done sermons overseas speaking on anti abortion topics. Friends of his have also weight in on his political and religious beliefs saying that they line up with the anti abortion claims.

That, as of now, seems to be the most prominent motivation

He was also affiliated with orgs that are Christian Nationalist or at least adjacent to them.

If anything I think it's the case that we have more clues to his motive than we do Kirk's shooter. Even still right wing scumbags like Ben Shapiro continue to associate Boelter with Tim Walz and refuse to acknowledge his radical Christian, anti-abortion views.

According to him, it isn't.

The man accused in the politically motivated assassination of a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband insisted to The Post this week the murders had nothing to do with President Trump or abortion — but stopped short of saying what allegedly drove him to kill.

“You are fishing and I can’t talk about my case…I’ll say it didn’t involve either the Trump stuff or pro life,” Vance Boelter wrote this week from a cell inside Sherburne County Jail in Elk River, about 30 miles northwest of Minneapolis.

“I am pro-life personaly [sic] but it wasn’t those,” he said, using the jail’s internal messaging system. “I will just say there is a lot of information that will come out in future that people will look at and judge for themselves that goes back 24 months before the 14th. If the gov ever lets [sic] it get out.”

This case continues to be brought up as an example of right wing violence against left wing politicians as some strange rebuttal to the attention paid to Charlie Kirk's murder. Looking into it though, there is actually no clear reason at all yet and it just seems to be a "whatabout" to distract from Kirk's death. Kinda what I figured.

I'm trying to find more, but Boelter seems to be holding on to his motivations until trial. He sounds like a self important douchebag. As if anything he could reveal would change the fact that he is a murdering scumbag who is going away for life.

Edit: @Seano Take a look.

We will see but it seems to significantly contradict his actions. I also don't put much faith into this guy's words as I'm sure he has some agenda he's trying to accomplish.

I think there is genuine hypocrisy going on with all these cases of political violence. The sad reality is that a significant population on both sides, tho they won't say it out loud, don't see political violence as wrong so long as its against the other side. But while some may be making a genuine attempt to come to an understanding, just as many are trying to deflect.

All these people are scumbags. Half the active posters on here are scumbags. And I'm too tired to muster up the amount of fucks necessary to deal with partisan bullshit anymore. Fuck the left. Fuck the right. Fuck the president. Fuck Congress. Fuck the house. Fuck SCOTUS. Fuck our entire current political system.
