my brother and I both cried like hell when we saw that scene. We felt soooooooo bad for him.
Come to think of it, there was a trend of movie characters losing their arms that year, 1987.

come to think of it, my brother and I were only 6 and 8 yrs old when those movies came out and we went to the MIDNIGHT premieres at the theaters with Dad. The 80's were a great time to grow up!

oh and I dont care what "colors" these kids or their parents are, just thinking how "typical" NYC transplant (probably from flyover states, but they now think they are "New Yorkers") parents name their kids "Finnegan" (Finn!) and "Maxwell"

go to any playground in a nicer part of Manhattan or BK and you'll certainly hear "Finn" and "Maxwell" all over the place
