That's pretty funny that they kept Zoro's flight to the location in character, with the plane flying as if lost until it touched down in South Africa. lol!
I will say, 8 episodes for this season will not be enough if they plan to include Alabasta. And given that is season is covering the Alabasta saga, I don't see how 8 can cover it all. Alabasta itself should be at least 3 episodes, I'm thinking this season should probably be 12 episodes. 2 Lougetown, 2, Reverse Mountain, 1, Whiskey Peak, 2 Little Garden, 2 Drum Island, 3 Alabasta.

Guess this is the launch trailer for the Harley Quinn spin-off 'Kite Man' and I just don't see how he has enough character to have his own series.

I decided I'm going to try to watch HULU's Normal People. Watched two episodes and the actress looks like a subpar Anne Hathaway, sometimes very attractive, sometimes Plain Jane.

Also watching S3 of Mayor of Kingstown and the main character barges into the crime lord's club and immediately fights each goon and bests them as if he's some superhero Bruce Lee and the goons don't shoot him dead. Had to pause it at that point. It's not like he has Iron Man armor under his suit.

Make sure you tag me after you've seen it, I'm dying to hear your reactions. I'm not saying a word until you have.
The season finale did not disappoint.
This has been one of the most enjoyable shows I've watched in a while.
They hit all of the right notes from the action, to the drama without going overboard. I'm not familiar with this world and the books beyond the old movie, so I wasn't expecting that twist.
My only real wish here was that
Louis' revenge had been given more time to play out. I wanted to see a bit more violence and vengeance considering how we saw Claudia die and where Louis' mind was.
I also wish there was a bit more time spent on the different vampire's strengths and levels. It would seem that the older you are the stronger you should be, but Louis was looking like the top dog against Armand, and even against Santiago when he grabbed his tongue at dinner. He also isn't worried about the other vampires coming for him. Maybe more of that will be explained in the next season.
Also, that was a great, heartfelt scene at the end with Louis and Lestat finally having a chance to mourn Claudia together so many years later.
Can't wait for the next season.

Seems like Paramount+ Lioness is going to be on Showtime and Tulsa King on CBS. Curious if Tulsa King will bleep or have alternate audio for profanity.

Also, Freevee has two seasons of Jack Ryan free.

Finally got around to watching all season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Prime, and it was fantastic! They did a great job of capturing 50's - 60's era New York. Rachel Brosnahan as Miriam "Midge" Maisel did an absolutely wonderful job portraying the role of a young Jewish mother that stumbles into becoming a stand-up comic. There are lots of famous names and people from the era on the show, most notably Lenny Bruce. Luke Kirby portrayed Lenny Bruce, and also did a phenomenal job in the role. The father of the main character, Abraham Weissman, is played by Tony Shalhoub and is hilarious as well.

Overall, this was a really well done show. I thoroughly enjoyed all 5 seasons and can see why it got a ton of accolades when it was currently running. I would open a main thread to talk about it, but I am not sure there would be much traffic here on Sherdog for this type of show. Anyway, great comedy series and I recommended it!

Yeah it sucks

Same with Evil being cancelled

All these off beat shows I love are getting dropped...and it all started with The Magicians a few years back

Fuck you SVU

Evil is great and a lot of fun. I am bummed that it is ending this season as well. The Magicians was also such a great show, and they always managed to cast some beauties in main and guest star roles. Loved Margo and Kayde as characters. Elliot was also a really great character. Of course Q as well, and didn't like his last arc. He was the heart of the show!
