Thats a positive sign at least.
Disney was stupid for not bringing over the writers, directors, & producers of the Netflix versions.
I expanded on that comment about female leads later on, I do believe it's a part of the hate the show is gettingI can see why someone might like Ahsoka, but calling it great is a huge stretch imo. I thought it had an overall likeable cast, but the story was weird and the pacing kinda slow. My guess is that people who liked the cartoon are the biggest fans of the series, while people who weren't are somewhat puzzled at times.
Lol at playing the misogyny card in this context as if female leads are something new or as if there aren't obvious valid criticism of Ahsoka.
Ahsoka wasn't great. It was decent, with only fleeting "oh shit" moments for hardcore SW nerds like myself, and I'm someone who has seen all of the relevant cartoons (that's just a minimum). Ranks below the first few seasons of The Mandalorian, ranks above the third season and two of the other three series they've done which have been shitshows (Book of Boba-Fett, Obi-Wan). It felt to me like most of the first season of Ahsoka was exposition: world-building. And that world-building will be what links the original Star Wars (Ep. 4-6, 1-3) to the new Disney Star Wars (Ep. 7-9). It seems logical that Baylan Skoll somehow becomes or discovers Snoke, and sets into motion the rise of the First Order.I can see why someone might like Ahsoka, but calling it great is a huge stretch imo. It’s a really great story. The animation is so clean and vibrant. It’s definitely a pleasure to watch on screen for me, as I only read the manga before. It’s really well done.Watching Pluto on netflixs and its amazing. The one thing Netflixs really does do well is Anime.

I had never heard of it, so it is a completely new experience. And I'm blown away, on ep 5
The mangaka (writer) of Pluto also wrote Monster, which is also on Netflix. It is another mystery detective story, but with no robots. lol! I was obsessed with his mangas years ago when I first got into reading them. They are all very unique and incorporate a mystery and science fiction. I wonder if Netflix will end up with adapting his other stories as well, which would be pretty cool.
Bad Batch
Watched S2E1 of Foundation and switched to Slow Horses S2E1. Maybe was just disoriented by the one guy having sexual relations with his robot nanny who changed his diapers.
