Health Medical anxiety

I can relate. Twitches used to stress me out. But twitches are very common, and usually benign. Overexertion, stress, dehydration, etc. can cause them.

Well it looks like the twitches are subsiding and my breathing has gotten better from two days ago, so that's a plus. I'm trying not to get the heart rate up, just incase.

What does the doctor say about chest pain ? Ist it from bench press ?

The last time I saw the GP was the day after I went to the walk-in clinic. My vitals were good, though my heart rate was a little low. She wanted to take a sample of my stool because I told her that, even though it wasn't an issue at the time, I've had a lot of issues with acid reflux for about a decade. I may see if I can get it done after all, as I've had a few little flare ups since, and I've been burping very frequently over the past few days. I almost never burp normally.

In terms of the bench press? I used the machines and the bottom weight isn't anywhere close to what I can optimally so, plus it's been four days since I've touched the gym.

I'm going to see how it goes tonight and then decide what to do tomorrow, as I'm working the next two days.

I had odd chest pains, a low heart rate, and heartbeats that were out of time years ago for a brief period of time. Never did figure out the root cause, but I do know that eating better and staying hydrated cleared it up. For me, the chest pain was exactly where my heart is and I would have to push in on my chest somewhat and breathe shallowly for a few minutes until it subsided. Pretty sure I was low on an electrolyte and that in conjunction with often being dehydrated to some degree didn't help. I used to have a bad habit of not drinking anything for several hours while working hard because I wanted to get a job done.

Complain to the doc about some medical thing and response is nothing or nothing you can do, getting older. No real thoughtful patient specific advice, no food advice. Feels like you must go to med school yourself to fix yourself. Can't really count on someone else to give enough shit to give you at least a few minutes of thought to help you. Even at ER, nurse refused to look at written timeline and list of symptoms. How the fook are they supposed to know how to treat you? Just guess at the problem?

Examine what foods you're eating. Maybe too much salt, not enough potassium to help rid the body of the salt. Maybe not enough foods necessary for proper blood vessel whatevers. I recently read something about bone broth for collagen for helping with the intestinal lining. If only there was a nutrition expert to listen to what problems you have, what you regularly eat and drink, and then could advise you on what food changes to make.

I think it was NHK World health TV show where they said something like a certain cinnamon helps prevent ghost blood vessels where the blood vessels just fall apart and disappear. Seems a lot of info you really need to make a personal effort to learn about, which is why I browse Apple News daily sometimes twice daily and "like" and/or "bookmark" certain articles and topics.

I suspect heart beating fast is from subconscious involuntary response to either pump nutrients to where it's urgently needed or to pump bad shit away urgently. Maybe not enough iron, not enough magnesium. I recently started walking extra steps and sometimes sorta bouncing myself up and down to try to create the effect of jumping on a rebounder, where the one I decided to buy isn't in stock on Amazon. The result was leg/calf cramps while sleeping, so after reading about magnesium and nerves and cramps, I made a point to eat some pecans everyday, or peanuts and direct result was some nights no cramps.

I also had fast heartbeat day after COVID vaccine, and maybe not after flu vaccine. Sometimes I'd try to rapidly open and close my hands to help with the pumping and noticed heart didn't beat as fast that way.

Def bad to not at least take some water breaks. I'm that way too, but made a point to stop for water or a froyo.

From talking to an older guy, he said after eating all sorts of bad foods at pot luck party, he immediately felt something's not right and he has diabetes. That made me realize or at least make a point to notice and make the connection to how I feel right after eating certain foods. Too much salt definitely made me feel like something's not right. Same with Subway cookies where I think they use sugar alcohol, pizza due to fat and salt. I recently saw the new Frito Lays NKD no artificial coloring Cheetos and Doritos, but looks like salt content unchanged and still a bit high so didn't buy any.

To be honest, I don't eat as badly as people think, and that's why. When I was a teenager, I used to binge big time on junk and it used to give me the sweats and make me feel sluggish for the rest of the day. I could eat more fruit, veg and nuts, but I don't snack or drink loads of sodas. My issue is probably cheese, pork and oversized portions.

Yeah, I've been woken up by the dreaded calf cramp from time to time too. Terrible stuff.

I really need to look at foods and exercises that are good for the lungs, veins and the circulatory system. .

I bought some pills off Amazon the other day, Best Naturals Pregnenolone, 100mls, off Amazon. I've heard off a Bloodclot survival Reddit so thread that they're good for strengthening veins and that they make symptoms of post DVT a lot better. 100mls is quite potent though, so I'm waiting for a day off to take them.

I also started reading about kidneys removing toxins and messed up kidneys can cause problems including more serious ones than itchy skin from too much bad shit not getting filtered out of the body.

I think I read fat people have more problems including higher chances for cancer and am thinking probably poor circulation and poor kidney function probably raises the probability of bad shit.

Portion size is probably bad since extra calories turn into fat storage.

Yeah, I get itchy skin when running or walking from time to time, but doing a run once a day tends to get rid of it, or Ibuprofen.

I've really fucked my life up. I've always been nothing but an inconvenience to my family, unless I've been in a position where I've been self-reliant, in that case I'm tolerable over there, away from everyone, unless there is ever a event.

The only people in my life who truly loved me have been my mother and my missus.

I haven't lived, I've only survived. If I were to go through life in a retrospective, I think I'd only like to re-experience only five things from it.

I have no friends, no real hobbies and I regret most of it, but to be honest, with who I am and how I am, and who I was and how I was, I wonder how much of a chance I was ever going to have. I am just different, and I was never going to fit.

Honestly. I felt some twitching like tingling cause I googled it was anxious. Turns out you can feel your heart if you focus too much on it. Went to a cardiologist got scans of the heart and everything is good. So now I'm totally chill about it. I never ever had chest pain. Do you have like some mental thing where you focus and feel something or is it pain in the chest ? Is it pain in the muslces of the chest ? Chest pain is something you should go to the cardiologist for and get a real scan. Also how is your blood presure ?

Sugar is not safer it will still kill you it will just be slower than cocaine it is the same thing as people thinking alcohol is safer than hard drugs it is still lethal.
Alcohol is a drug prettty much. Sugar is more harmless. Unless you are gonna be 300 pounds or have diabetes. Some sugar won't do much. A lot of sugar will have effects over years and decades.

Blood pressure was on the top end of normal.

I'm just trying to calm down and I hope that things work out for the better.

I tried to arrange an ultrasound for my lungs, heart and the back of my left leg today, but I have to call in tomorrow morning as it's done by a major hospital in my area and not my GP.

It's a bit of a mindfuck if you've had a bloodclot before. Every twitch and pain tells you that something could be wrong.
