I like it its just weird

Watch "Dark" on Netflix. It's a German show but there's a decent dubbed version if you can't read. SciFi. Good stuff.

Started to watch Bojack Horseman. Didn't think much of season 1. Season 2 is much better.

Jon Favreau has stated The Mandalorian season 2 will air in October.

The Hype is strong with this one!:)

Just finished Russian Doll. Enjoyed it quite a bit.
I felt it was near brilliant, and relate quite a bit to personally/emotionally to many aspects of theme.
Oddly still prefer/favor 3 other titles/series offhand that Ive binged during lockdown.

Related quite a bit to Natasha Lyonne & Charlie’s character both in different ways, but More Lyonne’s character. Both being yin/yang or Tokyo/London Polar opposite spectrums.
Found both of their performances excellent.

Looking forward to season two.

Really enjoyed THE GREAT. Wickedly fun show. Terrific set of characters. Even Peter, who you just want to murder, showed a few hints of likability.

Every episode left me satisfied because every episode was a complete episode on its own, with lots of interesting, moving plots and always with a resolution at the end. Huzzah.

Watched this last year but I haven't finished the series yet. What I do remember vividly was being extremely annoyed with Natasha Lyone's character for being SO STUPID in the early episodes with her dumb theories on what was happening with her.

I still have two left. Glad you liked it!

Hoult really steals a lot of the show. His character either makes you laugh or want to punch him in the face- sometimes both at the same time.

Real strong cast overall though.

Lot of humor- I just got through the episode where he visits the Swedish king. Their half assed fight had me in stitches.

finished warrior, looking forward to season 2

Somebody in the Warrior thread once commented that all the actors seem to have an only-one nudity appearance per season, lol. Yeah, I wanted to see more of Mai Ling (Dianne Doan).

At least they were all like full frontal shots

My fave was the white chick

Series called Cardinal, Canadian I think? Is it worth watching?

Re Watching the Worricker Trilogy with Bill Nighy,
(Who doesn’t like Bill?) such a great intelligent spy trilogy, imo.
Bill’s blends confidence, awkwardness, and Intelligence into a weird unique charm that’s his own, thats pretty cool. His acting/presentation kinda reminds me of jazz that way.

Alan Rickman.

Actually it's just a funny/bittersweet story that was shared by one of the actors from GALAXY QUEST, yes the one to whom Rickman masterfully conveys that one corny line, from their last dinner together. Rickman had been concealing how ill he was and basically doing a last farewell tour with his friends, little did anyone know. One of the anecdotes that came up was how he couldn't take a role (for THE LIMEHOUSE GOLEM) and was replaced by another British actor. When asked whom got the part, Alan Rickman beneath his heavy Alan Rickman eyelids in his slow Alan Rickman voice hissed, "Billlllllllllllllllllllllllllllll.... Nighy."

June 2020: COPS is canceled.

Verily now my body is indeed ready, Cthullutober! Do thine worst.

On ep 5, her yelling "more drunk please" just screwed me right up lol.

This is good.

you're not kidding

I had no f*cking idea it was the same writer as The Favourite

the trailer is plain vanilla compared to 80% of the show, it's easily HBO-levels of fucked up and smart as hell
