Television TV Show Thread

The wife and I finished Duster on Max a couple days ago, and really enjoyed the show. It's too bad that it did not get renewed for a second season. The next season would have featured Mad Raoul, which I was hoping would be cast by Tony Dalton. But alas, no second season. Overall, it was an enjoyable show. The characters were all pretty great in their own right. Josh Holloway should have a role where his hair is short, though. lol! Rachel Hilson was really cute. I loved her role as Nina Hayes. Also, loved seeing her team up with an agent of Navajo descent. They were a good duo.

Next up tonight, we'll be watching the season finale of Poker Face, and the premiere of Dexter: Resurrection.

That sucks it didn't get renewed for a second season. My only complaint was there weren't enough car chases for a show called Duster, lol. But I did enjoy it overall. Great song selection throughout.

Watched the season finale of Murderbot and the whole series was skippable. Nothing in it to motivate a rewatch. Had to check the number of episodes because it was like was that it? Nothing else after that?

Watched the first of two of Dexter Resurrection, and I suppose the explanation for why he didn't dieded was ok, but still want to know why Julia Jones went along with it and am guessing because she realized Dex killed the bad guy who killed all those girls in that town. Curious why the former co-worker is still hanging around for something.

Apparently Dexter's mom is very hot and naked, so I decided to resume watching Dexter Original Sin S1E1. I think the actress was the hot one in The Boys and GF of the fast guy.

Dexter Original Sin was good! Christian Slater owns his role by the end of the season. The show got renewed for a 2nd season, so looking forward to this expanding Dexter universe.

Started watching Altered Carbon looking for some something something in S1E1, but decided to watch it normally for the investigation/detective story.

Almost done with S1 and it's not bad. The rebel leader is not ugly.

Couldn't disagree more , we're loving it , it's a very original take and Skarsgard kills it (pun intended)

8.5 easy

Finished first season of Altered Carbon and this is a really good show not just for the full frontal here, full frontal there, but because they seem to put a lot of thought into story and storytelling.

Started season 2 and Anthony Mackie is the same main character in different body, but he sure plays it like Falcon or someone, not the original half asian character. His bounty hunter "partner" is not ugly.

Finished Squid Games Season 3. Really like this show. Does anyone recommend Blindspot? I am late to the game with this, and it is now on Netflix. Watched episode 1, it was ok, acting might lack a bit.

Since I never watched it when it was airing, I decided to start Mr. Robot since it is on Netflix now. The first episode was pretty good, so looking forward to catching up on this show.

Loved that show. Too bad it was labeled by netflix as "too expensive" and they droped it.

@GearSolidMetal and any other fans of The Shield here; I'm pretty sure that's Aceveda as POTUS in the Battlefield 6 trailer.

I'm almost done with Altered Carbon S2 and like a review said, it isn't as good as S1. I don't recall any S2 full frontal either. Almost expect the hotel AI to have sexual relations with the archaeologist AI. Does seem like S2 had different creators.

Got Altered Carbon confused with Westworld and was expecting full frontal Thandie Newton.

I watched a few episodes of Blindspot back then, didn't finish season one. I think it was okay. It had a similar vibe with The Blacklist but a bit inferior.
