Started watching Rabbit Hole (?) on Paramount+ with Kiefer. Already some crazy shit in Ep 1. Seems like a lot of hidden elaborate bad shit behind the scenes with unknown evil doer and unknown motivations.

It's a fun show. Unfortunately only 1 season. Always a fan of Keifer Sutherland and will watch whatever show he is involved with.

Started watching Those About To Die on Peacock. It takes place in Rome after the fall of Nero. It stars Anthony Hopkins as the new emperor Vespasian Flavianus, nearing his end and determining the succession of emperor. It also stars Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton from GoT) as Tanex, an underworld boss that runs a gambling den in the Circvs Maximvs. The show is fast paced with the narrative is decent. The show has been good so far. Nothing too deep like HBO's classic Rome, but it is nice to see the era represented again. Lots of greenscreen use to show places in the empire, but it is visually appealing. Lots of nudity as per usual with Rome. Chariot races and gladiator fights are central to the story as well. Overall, I am enjoying the show for what it is.

Is historically accurate in term of main events?

I am not entirely sure, to be honest. I haven't read further into the era of Roman history that this takes place in. I have been meaning to google it, but haven't done so just yet.

EDIT:

Sounds like it is accurate on names and events, but of course for story telling purposes, fictional characters and drama has been added as well.

Those About to Die, a historical drama series set in 79 CE that streams on Peacock, is considered to be "historically accurate-ish". The show includes real people and events, such as Emperor Vespasian, assassinations, and real buildings, but also features fictional characters created to add drama. The actors who play these fictional characters have researched real historical events and characters to inform their performances. Some say that the show also includes accurate period details, but that digital effects and backgrounds can make the experience feel more like a video game.

I didn't finish it.

Caught up on some shows that were in my queue. Finished Sweet Tooth on Netflix. I was a bit surprised on some of the events in the last 2 episodes, but it ended well. This final season wasn't as good as the first 2 seasons IMO.

Finished the finale season for Evil. Man, I am really bummed that this show was cancelled! Knowing that the 4th season was the last, they still ended the show with an open ending, so hopefully another platform picks them up. I really enjoyed the cast and supernatural aspect of the show. Having been raised Catholic, it was pretty cool to see those superstitions explored. I am a godless heathen now, but still enjoyed the show. (Edit: The final season is actually longer than previous seasons at a run of 14 episodes, so got 3 more to go before the end.)

Caught up on The Bear, and I enjoyed the season overall, but it was a bit chaotic and slow paced. There were more episodes out of the kitchen/restaurant, then in. Was cool to see Carmie's in flashbacks, how Tina ended up working at The Beef, and of course flashbacks with Mikey. John Berthanal kills that role! The finale episode was good and the ending was good/funny. What will happen with the review! lmao!
That Berthanal performance was the best of the season, he's so good. What was a really depressing had something in my eye episode, those two talking for the 10 minutes or so was epic. I loved the chefs like Boloud and Keller but you're right it was either chaos or a bit up itself with the slow pace.

I'm still in for the next season. lol! I know some folks are out now, but I still enjoyed it.

I'm definitely still in, loved the music too...always in for some Trent Reznor.
Will Poulter's acting in the last episode is the most natural I've potentially ever seen, it was like watching a documentary and he was adlibbing.

I'm not slagging it off, it was still great, just not as good as the previous seasons.

Watched up to maybe Ep3 of Rabbit Hole and the character who's a former military intel psychologist lays out the steps to take over: 1) discredit the media, 2) sow division using hate, 3) discredit the intel/experts, 4) pitch a candidate as the one to clean up the mess. This is exactly the gameplan currently used in US of A. Now I need to see when this TV show was made.

EDIT: Watched maybe 4 episodes so far, and def worth watching. I also recently learned I get Paramount+ no extra charge since I had paid for Showtime on cable from the Bellator era to now. Wish someone had let me know. It's the no commercials plan too.

Official Trailer for SKELETON CREW; Premieres Dec. 3 on Disney+

Arcane s2 has leaked already on russian torrent sites

There was massive netflix hack few days back so its out lol

Supposedly only parts of Season 2 have leaked, not full episodes, and they're of poor quality with watermarks.

Won't be cheating myself of what I've waited 3 years to watch in the full quality the creators intend to release the series as.

I got my 4K BluRay Arcane Season 1 on pre-order.
