From what I have been hearing lately, small modular reactors are going to be 20 years away for about the next 30 years.A massive government project went over budget due to red tape ? Say it ain't so
Wind and Solar are by far the cheapest sources of Energy and have the tremendous added benefit of being decentralised, massive multinationals controlling supply and distribution is good for no one but their shareholders
I have nothing against nuclear as long as it can be cost competitive which I'm sceptical of when it comes to large installations like Hinkley although small modular reactors are interesting and will surely play a part in transitioning away from fossil fuels
You mentioned China and how quickly they can bring a reactor online and yet they are transitioning to wind and Solar at a truly astonishing rate , its working for them or they wouldn't do it and they aren't going to be swayed by anything but the bottom line , yet you claim this is impossible
I've read it takes twenty years for a new nuclear plant to come online , from initial planning to turning on the switch ( I'm sure red tape plays a large part in this but your not getting away from that with nuclear as I'm sure you're aware ) , the growth of renewables over only the last five years is staggering and it's only going to better and cheaper
Australia is a great example of how quickly this can happen, they are to 43% from renewables compared to only 32 three years ago

Australia has backed a rapid shift to renewable energy - and given Labor a chance on climate. How will it act? | Clear Air
After a landslide election win, there will never be a better chance to shake off old policy impasses and deliver a more ambitious plan for the environmentwww.theguardian.com
Because it isn’t. The technology just isn’t there to provide solar power to massive amounts of people. That’s not to say it won’t be in years to decades. For now we need to be going all in on nuclear until that technology is viable.
LOL were these documents hiding under the Epstein files on Bondi's desk?Kash Pate's team just located a room full of documents / material on the conspiracy. It looks like Brennan is a total shitbag. If they can tie what he did to Obama ordering it, this is one of the worst abuses of power by a President in the history of the USA. January 6th? Pssssshhhh... try using the CIA, FBI, and DOJ to undermine an incoming President by his predecessor's administration.

FBI chief Kash Patel finds ‘burn bags’ of Trump-Russia documents in secret room
One of the documents is a classified annex to the 2023 report by then-special counsel John Durham that scrutinized the original FBI probe, code-named “Crossfire Hurricane.”nypost.com
That's new. Brennan should get a really good criminal defense lawyer.
Cliff Notes:
The Intelligence Agencies came out with a report that said there was no Trump Russia Collusion.
Brennan said hold on... you need to insert the Steele Dossier and change that conclusion... they did.
Brennan testified in front of congress that he did not use the Steele Dossier
Brennan is red handed here.
Glenn Greenwald is not a conservative or a fan of Trump. He is a married gay guy and a animal rights activist that is all about the truth.
If anyone wants the truth on this whole sandal he is the most truthful and accurate voice available. Its why she interviews him on multiple issues.
Just now? What a surprise. And just when people are focused on what happened to the pledge to release the Epstein files?Kash Pate's team just located a room full of documents / material on the conspiracy. lol at the quotes around lay. You should sue whatever school claimed to "teach" you English.Biden DID NOT let Trump "lay"... prosecutors that went after Trump were at the White House consulting with the Biden Administration. One of Biden's top DOJ staff quit the Administration to go work to try and send Trump to prison.
Jay Bratt, a top aide to Special Counsel Jack Smith, was at the White House prior, as was Nathan Wade and they consulted with Biden's DOJ.
Michael Colangelo joined Bragg’s office in December 2022, quitting the White House to prosecute Trump in NYC.
You do know that?
Just now? What a surprise. And just when people are focused on what happened to the pledge to release the Epstein files?
No! Don't look over there! Look over here!

Denial has strange affects on people’s capacity to comprehend the concept of Logical Fallacies.Yet nothing you wrote discounts what he shared? Logical Fallacies don't win debates.
It’s only important if your life time achievement is being a war room cop and checking that mall cop application every morning.See above Grammar Cop. I type over 100wpm... and often don't give a crap.
The only comment on your entire post was critique your use of quotations lol. What a contribution! There is a thread for Epstein.

I hope you’re not buying any of this nonsense. It is incredibly transparent that this is fake and only meant to get people to stop asking about Epstein. Guess it’s starting to work in some tooThe first stage of grief..
Homeboy is bragging about his typing speed. That’s some real boomer shit thereSee above Grammar Cop. I type over 100wpm... and often don't give a crap.
What makes you think we should not be able to discuss multiple topics at the same time. Is this not why we have different threads for different topics on this forum, for example?I hope you’re not buying any of this nonsense. I never said you can’t. Doesn’t change the fact that this one is an obvious ploy only fools could fall forWhat makes you think we should not be able to discuss multiple topics at the same time. Is this not why we have different threads for different topics on this forum, for example?
Then wouldn't that make you a fool for trying to distract from it so much?I never said you can’t. Doesn’t change the fact that this one is an obvious ploy only fools could fall for
