Elections Tulsi Gabbard to become Director of National Intelligence

All the talking heads on TV and some of the lesser intelligent Dems blame Harris losing in part due to misogyny. I wouldn’t vote for Harris, but I’d have no problem voting for Tulsi (assuming I like her better than the other candidate).

Democrats just hate Tulsi because she is a strong woman who served this country. They prefer their women weak, and with penises.

Tulsi lost Democrats when she curbstomped Kamala in the primaries.

Kamala was the darling of the DNC at the time and had pulled in huge donation numbers. Hillary came out afterwards to try to taint Tulsi with the Russia Collusion garbage. lol.. Can't believe anyone believe that shit after Hillary tried the same thing with Trump that was later to turned to be fake news.

Tulsi exposed her for the fraud she is... Its amazing that Biden picked Kamala as his VP.

Imagine if Biden had picked Tulsi for VP instead. We might very well be seeing Tulsi as the first Female President... as a Democrat.

Whoever is running things at the DNC doesn’t have the intelligence or the foresight. All they see is demographics/skin color/ethnicity/sexual orientation. Such a shallow bunch.

That's exactly how I felt in 2021

Lol dude come on. Biden’s appointees were light years more qualified. I don’t know if you saw my earlier posts about Sam Brinton—that’s the bald lipstick wearing trans person that the Right loves to meme so much—but even they have a very relevant and lengthy list of qualifications for their role.

Trump’s appointees in 2016 were a similar shitshow: a lawyer known for suing the EPA put in charge of the EPA, neurosurgeon Ben Carson in charge of HUD (that one was particularly odd), a person who had never stepped foot in a public school or sent their kids to one as Sec of Education, a National Security Advisor who had to retroactively register as a foreign agent…I could go on. Just a circus.

The director doesn't need to have an active duty history so long as the deputy does, or vice versa.

Obama killed one US citizen, who was literally a member of Al-Qaeda, in a country we had no access to or extradition treaty with. I don't think it's really that bad of a look.
That first point is fair, and the Deputy Director of Intelligence does have a lot of intelligence experience. I suppose Trump could get around this the same way with Tulsi.

We killed at least 4 Americans by drone strike, although allegedly 3 were by accident. Honestly, I don’t really care if the government does allege the American is with Al Qaeda, I’m not a big fan of the government killing US citizens without some type of due process.

Aside from Americans, a Obama’s drone strikes killed a ton of civilians.

In a Feb 2. Letter to Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Deputy Inspector General Norbert Vint, the DOE employee alleged that “prohibited personnel practices” were utilized in selecting Sam Brinton for the position of deputy assistant secretary for spent fuel and waste disposition (NE-8) in DOE’s Office of Nuclear Energy. The letter requested that OPM investigate the matter.

The employee alleged that “undue political influence and preferences were applied” at DOE to select Brinton for the position. The letter also raised concerns about Brinton’s qualifications for a position in the Senior Executive Service (SES) — the class of federal career officials who rank just below top presidential appointees in seniority.

The DOE employee complained that Brinton’s “background is limited to select advocacy work and an academic background at the graduate-degree level which together satisfy requirements for the competitive placement of a qualified GS-11 in federal career service, not a high-standing member of the SES,” the employee said.

What would you like me to address regarding this unnamed whistleblower’s unverified assertion?
I think this illustrates that the appointment was a little more contested than you stated in your previous reply

What I said was that even Sam Brinton has a lengthy list qualifications compared to many of these Trump appointees. Which is true.

The whole "walk away" movement where spineless slugs like you and Dave Rubin blame Democrats in their shift to the right because they feel "alienated" is the dumbest bullshit I've ever heard.

How TF did I walk away when I literally voted.

Dave Rubin? I hate that fuckhead and you don't know me or what I believe. Again STFU you presumptuous prick.

One of the reason why Trump won is because Fascism thrives on (the perception of) a bad economy and people who don't understand why the economy is bad (if it even actually is) wanting a simple fix, it always has.

I don't really care which way you lean because regardless of what your political leanings are on any given day I'm certain that your reasons are stupid.

Great pick.

For the liberals/leftists who are not detecting a pattern with Trump's picks, he's not making the same mistake of just having RNC figureheads make the picks for him like in 2017.... who end up being either real shitty at their jobs or are loyal to their ends and not Trump's.

Now he's picking his loyal allies from the campaign who are particularly aggrieved by the federal department they are now going to be head of.

Tulsi Gabbard was put on a no-fly list, as if she as a congresswoman were a threat to national security.

Matt Gaetz was investigated by the DOJ, and his name was ran through the mud in the media and apparently they never found anything because he was never charged with anything.

Elon Musk has been threatened with increased regulation enforcement and investigations ever since he bought twitter.

The media and AOC tried to humiliate Tom Homan publicly for his stance supporting a strong border & mass deportations, and they failed.

This is a systemic deconstruction of the deep state.

Voting for Kamala while simultaneously parroting every right wing talking point is not a good look.
You're either deliberately lying or in the last stages of becoming a right winger loonie. I dont really care either way.

Shouldn’t they be loyal to the United States? Also if Trump picks so many people terrible
At their jobs what does that say about his qualifications as a leader? As some business genius shouldn’t he be better at hiring people?
