International Tucker Carlson in Russia to interview Vladimir Putin UPDATE - Also Dugin

Tucker Carlson is a mouthpiece for whatever gets him the most views. His "interview" with Putin is likely to be a very well-produced piece of propaganda.

I'm sure it won't be over the top Putin fawning but it's going to be propaganda none the less. Tucker is a journalist the same way a prostitute is your "girlfriend".

I can post the hannity or tucker interview with Trump if you want.

And lol @ emotional wreck, you projecting?
Go right ahead, and you can also give all the tough questions asked of Biden by any of the liberal outlets, but you won't because the guy's so demented he already admitted he has the softball questions and answers on a sheet of paper before he knows who to call on.

Some people want more information, you want less, so don't watch it and stick to CNN.

I just want to know if his black belt in judo is legit. I've assumed it was phony.

If Tucker doesn't ask about it, it's a wasted opportunity

Leftists have this weird idea that simply interviewing or meeting someone in person = being a supporter or friend.

I started noticing this when Tulsi Gabbard was smeared for meeting Assad "OMG she met him in person so she must support him!" - it's the most childish take

It's the general level of immaturity in society now. Kids with their "words are violence" mentality don't have the maturity to understand the rest of the world doesn't have to give in to their personal whims and vulnerabilities.

It's the whole "give a platform" thing - when I hear that I can picture purple haired trigglypuff going nuts. They are so arrogant (and largely ignorant) that they think THEY should get to decide who YOU are able to listen to. I personally often enjoy listening to people I don't agree with because it can be more interesting than just echo chambers reiterating things I already know/believe. Or finding errors / bias in their logic. But according to these mental midgets who need to stay in safe spaces from the boogieman of differing opinions, I shouldn't be allowed to listen to people THEY disagree with.

I remember back in the day, when it came to debating expertise, it would be said the best practice would be to be forced to debate on behalf of the side you disagree with. Now, people would view that as being subjected to violence or something. I absolutely adored Haidt's book The Coddling of the American Mind. Should be a must read for all.

Let me know when the interview is available to watch.

Then I'll take interest.

Not convinced it will be well produced at all, it will be clunky and obvious, but the rubes won't care..they will believe any old shit..

That shit happened after Putin outright declared himself an enemy of the West and launched a war of conquest in defiance to it

Fucker Carlson said he wanted Russia to win AFTER the Bucha massacre and mass rapes became public.

Fuck that Russian bitch, this is just a propaganda piece.

I definitely remember this is about 5th time you posted those lies. I’m not surprised though, you still post about how Russia collusion is real and the piss tapes will be revealed any day.

Which Mod is the one who changed your name against your will?

It depends on what he says.

If he gives an over-friendly interview where he helps Putin discourage the American people from continuing to support Ukraine, that's a big deal.

You can decide if that's good or bad. I think it's bad. And likely, considering what Carlson has said in the past.
The majority of Americans already don't support giving Ukraine more money, and that's a poll from CNN, who definitely do support more money going there.

Is there a list somewhere of people that shouldn't be interviewed?

Tucker is very sympathetic towards Putin as are most in conservative media. Also Tucker isn't a real journalist. Seem like a pretty straightforward case of picking a sympathetic mouth piece to help push out propaganda about what ever cause a dictator wants to push.

It's pretty much what I would expect Tucker and Putin to do. I'm sure this will be very profitable for Tucker. It will be fun watching his fan base repeat his talking points and fall over themselves about how manly and strong Putin is.

At this point, there is zero value in what Putin has to say in public. I can absorb crackpot justifications and whine about Western hegemony/value systems in the Russia/Ukraine megathread.
