Teachers are leaving my state right now because of constant Republican cuts to education. They're talking about four days a week public schooling to save money. Fuck a QuickTrip employee actually makes more money than a teacher here. Thanks to Republicans here were ranked in the last three States in the country for education.

Also for the record it feels like you are assuming NYC schools are all crazy madhouses of gang violence and teenage pregnancy (which has declined thanks to Planned Parenthood offering birth control and schools rejecting the failed abstinence only teaching) when I imagine they have some of the top schools in the nation.

Lol. I've NEVER defended Hillary unless its some just outright sexist shit. The Democrats were just as bought as the Republicans, Bernie Sanders popularity showed much like Trumps popularity that both parties are out of touch with what America wants.

It's just a shame that Trump seems like he's not following through with some platforms of his I actually supported.

No, i will talk about the planet i live on..thanks. And as i just said, i'm sure she had at least something legitimate going for her, but i doubt she was the best possible candidate..you're acting like the bullshit "diversity" mantra doesn't exist..even though Obama has talked about this himself..

Throughout my childhood i've attended one of the largest and poorest performing school districts in the US. I have a more intimate understanding of the situation than 99% of you here.
 
As useless as the Dept. of Ed might be it's still a good idea to have someone with at least half a clue about education and the needs of students, teachers and school districts. This nominee seems to be something akin to Trump throwing a bone to some specific group of Republicans.
