I've had EvilWasLittle on ignore for awhile and this place has been much better it. That fucking Simple Jack blames the left but he's too fucking stupid to google basic testing scores to realize that Republican States are often the most reliant on welfare and education standards in red States are embarrassingly low.

But this current nominee is terrible. Absolutely terrible. It's not even a partisan issue. I thought Trump was going to drain the swamp and was anti establishment. I actually had hope that he would.

On topic though Warren and Sanders are on a warpath.

That's because you don't know enough about who the Devos family is. They are the single largest contributor of "soft money" in Republican politics. They have bought and paid for all major Republican campaigns in Michigan for years, single handedly turning Michigan into a right to work cheap state. A vote against a Devos interest is a blackball that could end the career of a Republican politician. There is literally NO chance she will not be confirmed.

All the back water people like @ripskater want to do away with certain levels and standards on federal education and what the students learn.

It's so they can teach their back water children things like evolution is fake and God created the earth. Maybe keep them ignorant on sex and how to prevent teen pregnancies. Etc etc etc

So chikdren in New York learn about actual science and where he lives, in trailer park Florida, the kids are being taught dinosaurs were used like cows.

How many tens of millions of dollars in profits did that woman stand to make by undermining the traditional policies that the air force is based on?
There are bad picks, then there are shockingly corrupt and potentially catastrophic picks. This falls into the later category.
