Economy Trump's April 2nd Tariffs

More winning.

I've been enjoying watching Saagar Enjeti gradually meltdown and get progressively more angry at Trump over this nonsense after initially trying to make excuses for all of the fuckery in the first few weeks of the administration.

For the last 10...15 years, both Airbus (already a giant) and Embraer (A giant in the making) have been able to capitalize so well against Boeing's problems, can you imagine now?

I mean, people talking about losing market to Australian meat or Brazilian soybeans, but those are low added value products, it was kind of expected a high value economy like the US to lose ground on these markets eventually.

But now its about the US losing ground on fucking aerospace, extremely high added value sector... and I return to my first sentence: If by the way things were just flying, Boeing was having a hardtime competing against Airbus and Embraer, how the fuck is it going to do it now in the middle of that shitshow???

Embraer's midsized jets are just better. Now they will be cheaper too? How you actually compete against it? And again, WHAT IS THE FUCKING POINT??? I can understand americans losing groung on eventual markets like agriculture and livestock and not batting an eye because thats what supposed to happen eventually. How come losing the fucking aerospace market is not something americans are worried? I dont watch too much youtube but this guy is the first american Ive seen saying: "Hello motherfuckers!! We are losing market share to fucking Brazil in a sector we used to monopolize, not just meat and fucking soybeans. Wake the fuck up!!"

I like Dorsey but this is horse crap.
"What Happened: Dorsey initiated the discussion with a post on X stating, “delete all IP law.” Musk, who now owns X (formerly Twitter), promptly agreed with Dorsey’s sentiment. The discussion comes amid ongoing lawsuits faced by AI companies, including OpenAI, co-founded by Musk, over alleged copyright violations." Musk AI is ripping off other peoples work.

lol China could care less.

all CHINA needs to do is call trump and make deal where they stop ripping us off!! Otherwise they will be crushed like a bug by the trump tarrifs!
Tell me you have no idea how international trade works without telling me you have no idea.

User name couldn't be anymore spot on the money if it tried

I am pretty sure he's just trolling for lolz--and failing to get many.

Market is down 2% in a month.

The sky is falling!
I thought you were done with bad faith shitposting in 2025?

Anyway, what do you think of the dwindling consumer and industry confidence? The tariffs were supposed to jump start a renaissance of American manufacturing but if anything the industry is as pessimistic as ever.
