Elections Trump's approval rating

People that voted for him (the majority) are still loving him. The left was never going to do anything but hate him. But he is keeping the people on the fence as the news is focusing on the disarray of the Dem party. Left news is reporting on it which seems self sabotage. There must be an endgame here. I think the media really wants a revamp with progressives leading the party, which is napalm in my opinion. People like AOC, Crockett, Talib, Omar, they turn the centrists right. Trump is paving the way for Vance for sure. He is actually delivering on his promises. Ice Ice Baby!

I don't think the media is self sabotaging by reporting on the Democrats approval rating. First, the disaster that the current Democratic Party is right now is way too big too ignore, and too big for the media to distract from. Second, they probably want to bring attention to that because they want to see change in the Democratic Party along with the rest of the country. As it stands, there is nobody at the front of the party who comes across as sensible and intelligent. They're essentially human versions of click-bait Tik Tok videos and they govern that way too. But they are all too full of themselves to step aside and let more moderate members of their party make a name for themselves and help repair the party's image.

Total beatdown on Fox Five ,how long will they let Jessica Tarlov dismantle the rest of the crew with facts ? Gutfeld looked like was about to blow up at one point you know Trump will see this as well . Lol

A Pew Research Center polls finds just 38 percent of respondents approve of President Trump’s job performance compared to 41 percent two months ago.

The worsening performance appears to be linked to disapproval of Trump’s tariff policies, and to some opposition to the “Big Beautiful Bill” signed into law earlier this summer that extended Trump’s first-term tax cuts, expanded those cuts, and also cut Medicaid.

Sixty-one percent of the 3,554 adults who were surveyed disapprove of Trump’s tariff policies as prices rise on regular goods. The tax and spending law results are more mitigated: 46 percent disapprove of the legislation, 32 percent approve and 23 percent say they are unsure.

On other key issues, voters still have some confidence in Trump. Forty-seven percent say they are “somewhat confident” in Trump’s ability to negotiate trade deals. On immigration, Trump also received a 46 percent confidence vote.

The administration’s handling of files related to the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein are an issue for the GOP and Trump. Seven in 10 respondents agreed the case was mishandled. Among Republicans, 53 percent disapprove of the handling of the Epstein files, with 44 percent approving. Overall, 63 percent of respondents say they do not trust what the federal government is saying about the Epstein files

This is why they are panicking and redistricting Texas before the midterms. never in US history has a president tried to pull this shit and not a word out of maga. Win at all cost it seems, forget about integrity.

People knew he is a criminal, liar, business fraud, and sexual predator and still voted for him.

Don't see any reason for that to change.
I saw a poll that reported that 50% of registered Republicans would still vote for Trump even if he were to look/be found guilty in the Epstein files. Judging by what I see in the WR, I think that number is actually higher.

I think his baseline is around 30% That's the most fanatical, lowest IQ, farthest right that will support him absolutely no matter what.

So he's getting close to that already. 38% is pretty dismal. I think Dubya Bush sank to the high 20s but he had to lead a disastrous war for like 6 years to achieve that.

And the bottom fell out of the economy in 08. If there is crisis in the back half of Trump's term then he'll probably reach Dubya numbers. People tend to jump ship when they know a politician has no future. I think that will be the difference between 2027-28 and 2020. He'll be a true lame duck in 2027.
