you're stupid, and I can't fix that. You just said a bunch of nothing. Its hilarious that you call people NPCs when its clear that you read Tesla fanboy blogs and believe everything Elon Musk tells you (like when he said you would be able to summon your Tesla parked in California to New York and it would make the cross country trip on its in own by 2018. Spoiler alert: Its 2025 and precisely 0 Teslas have been summoned to New York from California. Can't even summon one from across the street).
Lets stick with the facts. The SAE defines levels for how mature an autonomous driving platform is. The scale goes from level 0 (no autonomous features) to level 5 (fully autonomous). Waymo is at SAE level 4 and has been since around 2020. Tesla FSD is at SAE Level 2. Tesla is not even in second place. There are level 3 systems.
A company has to be licensed by the states to operate vehicles with no human driver. Waymo is licensed to operate in 5 states (Arizona, California, Texas, Florida, and Georgia) plus the District of Columbia. Tesla is licensed to operate in how many? I don't even know. I guess 1 since they claim to be launching robotaxis in Austin. And its interesting how they are only licensed in the state where SpaceX happens to be headquartered (surely the Texas state government wouldn't ignore safety concerns to appease Musk...that would never happen).

Tesla Executive Admits That Self-Driving Is Going Nowhere Fast
Tesla's head of autopilot and AI software admitted in an interview that full self-driving is still a "couple of years" away.futurism.com
Tesla execs know they are behind. Only you fanboys think they are ahead. And technically, he's wrong because they are behind by more than "maybe a couple of years".
this is like those folks that thought nokia/blackberry would be the dominant phone because of the physical buttons and market dominance....
waymo is trash, and if you lived in the areas where it's offered, you'd already know this.
I'll put this in the most layman NPC terms possible:
Even if Tesla did not exist, Waymo would fail. 250K rides a week is not even close needed for Waymo to become profitable, it's a pet project for google, and it's been 16 years, no profit, very little expantion.
now be ready to cry
