It's kind of weird that Trump is being so tame towards Musk during this "spat." Anybody else he publicly feuds with he goes right for the jugular.
 


Funny that Elon was fully aware that Trump was on the Epstein list but that didn’t cause him to break away. It was a schism over the deficit and not Trump’s association with a p*do sex trafficker that really split them up. The party of family values, folks!

The so-called rescissions package would slash funding to the U.S. Agency for International Development, NPR and PBS, and it would aim to codify cuts proposed by Department of Government Efficiency, the advisory entity that was helmed by President Donald Trump’s billionaire ally Elon Musk until he left his post last week.


The package would require simple majority support in the House and the Senate, meaning Republicans could bypass Democrats to pass it."
 
I’m pretty surprised by some of the thought pieces on this from the MSM. I expected a flocking to Musk but it seems even many of the most Trump deranged are siding with Trump. In a relative way of course. They aren’t rallying behind Trump but the consensus seems to be Musk was having some sort of psychotic break. So much so that Trump looks like High Road Harry in comparison.

So Musk tried to steal Trump’s movement but he couldn’t steal Trump’s base or the ability to wrangle congressional republicans. All he managed to do was become even more hated than even Trump by many anti-trumpers.

He miscalculated big time. No wonder he’s blowing up Trump’s phone and now all of a sudden spamming SpaceX, Nueralink, and Tesla stuff on his feed so he could bury his tantrum far enough that he can quietly delete them and act like it didn’t happen.

Indeed. Musk accumulated so much hatred from the left, and or or anti Trump crowd, and plenty of others as well. I'm sure he has his fans, but this is just a bad move on his part. His wealth/businesses rely so much of government subsidies.

I always commend him for helping to improve things on the space front, as we need to get the hell off this planet in large enough numbers, sooner than later, if only to survive a civ ending cataclysm with our current knowledge. We all know he's a shyster though, and surely hopped up on some daily stimulants. He's been acting more and more unhinged. He's basically committing suicide for his way of life.

How much control does he have over Tesla and Space X? I guess he can always try to move those businesses elsewhere if Trump is able/willing to pull subsidies, but would his partners be able to stop him?

I have a feeling they'll work things out, seems to be Trump's disposition. Like @Confucamus said, he's unusually tame with him. Regardless, this is super entertaining!

Id rate that Trump has a straight flush
Just by virtue of the presidency and all that goes along with it. His intuition legendary


But I’d rate Musk a having a higher order straight flush or even a royal flush just by virtue of being a freak of nature and being one of two pioneers (Sam Altman being the other ) in the tech and AI sector he cannot do without. A monolith American entrepreneur.

Musk has amazing cards and Trump knows he can’t go very far without him especially w so much of his platform staked on AI. That’s why Trump said he won’t be talking to him for ‘a while.’ Very unusual when u consider he’s buried every adversary who’s turned on him. His responses while sharp have been very tepid. Trumps going to resolve this sooner than later. Buy TSLA (pounding the desk)
