It’s Bibi who would never act like Zelensky towards Trump….the hypothetical is a waste of time. Bibi was already seeking Trump out in Nov and Dec last year well before the inauguration. He was ecstatic and subservient. Trump has told Bibi to fuck off many times. Bibi is very careful around Trump

Uk and france together failed to upkeep an air campaign againt libya.ran out of ammo under one month in 2011. Had to ask usa for help

Doesnt look promising at moment, paying for political mistakes made

It was part of a BBC report. It wouldn't be the first time the BBC got something wrong.

I agree with your last statement regarding successive UK governments not getting their priorities right. However, Trump seems to have had an, "Oh, SHIT!" effect. It's been reported the Chancellor will be using north of £20 Billion previously ear-marked for Green Initiatives for Defence Spending instead.
 
You know, I was looking at which countries contributed their fair share to NATO and I, for some reason, thought Germany was one country that did but they do not. Not really important, I guess. Just an observation.

Hate to admit it, but no matter how big douchebags Trump and Vance were, Zelenski really dropped the ball. Not really for the childish slapfight in the Oval Office, but now even Lindsey "Kill a Commie" Graham is mad at him.

That's not good. Apparently Graham even warned him in advance, but temper/ego got the better of Zelesnki and he just could not refrain from pushing certain things which set the fuse for the clusterfuck.

Agreed: too little, too late if it kicks off any time soon. But at least they're finally waking up to the new reality. Uncle Sam isn't going to do the heavy lifting anymore. So they'd damn well better start building up capacity so they can fight their own battles.

I think this is my biggest takeaway, a good elder would've realised they needed to swallow their pride and potentially be humiliated for the good of their people but he just couldn't do it

His proposed peace plan is actually a stroke of genius in that the minerals agreement contains intrinsic elements for the near guaranteed defense of Ukraine by placing American interests within the new proposed DMZ.

The sooner Zelensky wakes up from his dream and realizes that left tilted politics have completely evaporated the better. Hes almost there. lol
