Let's see what the documents reveal. Maybe you don't think that testimony was explosive by itself but it shows the need for the administration to stop stonewalling and hand everything over. You have the whistleblower, the paraphrased transcript, the text messages, now Taylor fleshing it all out. I don't agree with you at all that he lacks credibility. It's guys like Sondland, who's a loyalist that bought his position, that had reason to paint as rosy a picture as possible without sacrificing himself with blatant perjury. Let's see what Rudy, Pompeo, Bolton, Barr, etcetera have to say.

I didn't say that testimony wasn't explosive. That has easily been the most damaging, compelling information to come out since this episode began.

The irony that Rudy was running a shadow government on behalf of Trump when Trump ran his campaign on the "deep state" paranoia is tickling, but not the hook to hang impeachment on. Mulvaney's press conference was embarrassing, but only for him. The treatment of the ambassador was disgraceful, but par for the course in international politics between national executives. The fact that men like Bolton wanted nothing to do with whatever the hell was going is another tidbit that doesn't amount to much in its own right.

If this is real, and more importantly provable, then this one man's testimony won't be something to which anti-Trumpers need to desperately cling. It will be the first drips in a torrent to follow.

We'll see. So far my money is still on the number where the most significant consequence of the whistleblow is Rudy's ignominious, final exit from politics and the public eye.

So you're just guessing that Schiff gave the document to the press, ok. Even if he did, would that be illegal or wrong? And again, how does that invalidate Taylor's testimony?

Are you being honest when you say that you read it, and saw only "weasel words" and "presumptions"? You didn't see recollections, facts, etc? Do you wonder why even the most devoted Trump supporters here have started to abandon ship? It's because it's looking really bad for him, and they don't want to go down with that ship. You don't want to sink with Trump, so just let it go.

We're all wrong sometimes, about some things. It's always better to just own up to it and learn from the experience. That the definition of personal growth; learning from our mistakes. Continuing to go down a path that you know is wrong, while denying it even to yourself, is the opposite of growth. Just my $0.02, as someone who has made lots of mistakes and learned from them.
