It’s not masked men disappearing people, it’s federal agents deporting illegal immigrants.

Where Are the Detainees? Hundreds of “Alligator Alcatraz” Prisoners Disappear from ICE database
Shirsho Dasgupta, a Miami Heraldreporter has reported that, as of late August, about two-thirds of the 1,800 immigrants who were held there in July have gone missing from ICE’s online database, with their families and attorneys unable to locate them. Earlier this month, a federal appeals court ruled the jail could continue to operate despite reports of abuse.
Detainees are disappearing without their families or lawyers being able to locate them. I support deporting people after due process, not based on accusation = guilt. Being accused of committing a crime is not the same as being found guilty of committing a crime. ICE has also deported people to torture dungeons in El Salvador.
People are being arrested at their immigration hearings before the hearings even take place.
New Class-Action Lawsuit Challenges Widespread Denial of Due Process in Immigration Courts | American Civil Liberties Union
Denying bond hearings violates rights, upends decades of precedent...
When the government arrests any person inside the United States, it must be required to prove to a judge that there is an actual reason for the person’s detention. Our client and others like him have a constitutional and statutory right to receive a bond hearing for exactly that purpose. Yet the Trump administration is now ignoring that right and jailing people arbitrarily without a hearing. The Fifth Amendment says that no person can be deprived of liberty without due process of law. This lawsuit seeks to ensure that the promise of our Constitution remains a reality.
