Shirsho Dasgupta, a Miami Heraldreporter has reported that, as of late August, about two-thirds of the 1,800 immigrants who were held there in July have gone missing from ICE’s online database, with their families and attorneys unable to locate them. Earlier this month, a federal appeals court ruled the jail could continue to operate despite reports of abuse.

Detainees are disappearing without their families or lawyers being able to locate them. I support deporting people after due process, not based on accusation = guilt. Being accused of committing a crime is not the same as being found guilty of committing a crime. ICE has also deported people to torture dungeons in El Salvador.

People are being arrested at their immigration hearings before the hearings even take place.

I thought the courts just pushed back on his military deployments? I guess those must have been woke appeals judges that don't really matter. Only the lopsided SCOTUS rulings matter unless they go against MAGA.

If you search Twitter for “portland ice detention center”, it is basically an endless stream of clips of agitators at the facility every day of every month since trump came back to office.

First of all, people who are deported should be free to go in the country they’re deported to, not rotting in a concentration camp in El Salvador without ever being charged with anything in either country.

Secondly, people have been deported who didn’t enter illegally or even break any law at all—and not just deported, but thrown into the above-mentioned prison. It’s cruel, inhumane, fascist behavior.
