International Trump/Putin Summit

Trump has known this since before he became president! Why does he still resist?
Two weeks before his inauguration, Donald J. Trump was shown highly classified intelligence indicating that President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia had personally ordered complex cyberattacks to sway the 2016 American election.

The evidence included texts and emails from Russian military officers and information gleaned from a top-secret source close to Mr. Putin, who had described to the C.I.A. how the Kremlin decided to execute its campaign of hacking and disinformation.

Mr. Trump sounded grudgingly convinced, according to several people who attended the intelligence briefing. But ever since, Mr. Trump has tried to cloud the very clear findings that he received on Jan. 6, 2017, which his own intelligence leaders have unanimously endorsed.

Thanks.

Any response to post #2537?
Yeah you just called everyone who doesn’t think like you stupid. That’s a winning strategy. I meant is what they're running on I suppose btnit makes you a terrible person

I don’t scream into my pillow because trump is in office. You are right about that. Russia is the devil we know. They are the second most powerful military. We should buffer against cyber attacks better. That’s what we should do. Now go cry somewhere. China is doing the same thing. So are we. Do you still believe in Santa Claus by chance

Are you on something or just this way naturally?

I agree. Calling people who dont think like sound people stupid....is stupid. It can distract from exposing their true agenda.

He blamed “many years of U.S. foolishness and stupidity” and a “Rigged Witch Hunt”.
He blamed those things for US-Russia relations being "worse than they have ever been"?

If you were Trump would you trust the US intelligence who may be filled with people who were anti-Trump and pro-Hillary?

Yes, of course he should. This isn't a fantasy novel, the US intelligence services aren't conspiring against the POTUS, since that would be the biggest act of treason in modern history. It's ridiculous to believe that the vetted men and women in the intel community are going to act egregiously based on their political leanings. Do you also think all the conservatives within the intel community actively conspired against Obama?

Every other president has had full trust in the intelligence community, except for this one. You gotta wonder why....

It doesn't require any assumptions. Trump exaggerates all statistics. Why are you making excuses for him?
Bizarre response.

I started this by emphasizing that Trump exaggerates for rhetorical effect. I showed how 75% is calculated (that's Bernie Sanders's figure).

90% is not a preposterous leap. If you start including things like Social Security and Medicare payments to veterans, you're going to go over 75%.

That looks like a tweet.

This was a conversation about what was said at the summit. Don't be deceptive.
