International Trump/Putin Summit

Putin loves Trump's actions on Iran and Trump fighting with the leaders of NATO. Putin had always wanted to defang NATO and Russia's reducing has massively benefited from treating up the Iran deal.

Trump's expulsion of the diplomats was done in conjunction with Putin to reduce the inconvenience as much as possible.

Likewise, Trump's eventual semi-application of the sanctions only happened after the targeted Russians were able to buffer themselves as much as possible. And then there's the time when Trump re turned seized Russian compound to Putin...

No Putin does not like more NATO troops on his doorstep and has condemned this many times. Putin does not like EU countries contributing more to the funding NATO. No Putin does not like Trump's backing out the Iran deal and has condemned this. You do not get to change facts just because they do not fit your Operation Mockingbird deep state run fake news narrative.
Putin did not like Trump bombing 2 Syrian bases.
Putin does not like the CIA operation to overthrow the gov of Syria that Trump has allowed to continue.
Putin does not like that American planes bombed and killed Syrian and Iranian troops in Syria
Putin does not like the continued support of the new anti Russian Ukrainian government installed by a western backed coup

You, my friend, are full of globalist shit. You simply hate Trump and make unfounded claims.

Yes, some of that would be nice for a change. But we're currently residing in fantasy land, where the intelligence community of the US, actually even those of its closest allies, are all telling the president lies because they're still butthurt that Hilary didn't win. Does that honestly sound reasonable to you?

What are they telling him?

Maria Butina theRussian Spy Had sex with a person who raised huge sums of money for Trump campaign. She gets indicted after the FBI had been watching her for a long time. The next day Trump orders the IRS to change laws, donors to the NRA dont have to be identified.

You're missing the point. If the actual number was 90% he would have claimed 99%. He's a liar, he wants to deceive you, all that matters to him is perception.
I prefer the term exaggerator. There's a difference.

Anyway, it seems like you and I don't really disagree.

Mueller will have to show you. Yes, by time Mueller is done it will make the deep state numbskulls lose their minds.

Mueller will run away from Trump with his tail between his legs.

He won't dare indict Trump for anything hacking related. I'd even put my AV on the line for that one.

Notice how you mentioned "hacking". He will go down for many things.
Pfft, the only guy tucking and running is when Trump tucked that ducktail on his head between his legs and ran from Pooty like a child. Pooty has his number and its REALLY obvious.

Your AV aint worth nothing, no one cares, what exactly are you talking about.

I disagree that he's not an idiot. Anyone with half a brain would have said something more diplomatic, like, "Putin and I had a very lengthy talk on election meddling, which is an issue I take very seriously. My intelligence operatives have shown me things that had to be explained and I am getting to the bottom of them."

But his ego is too fragile to do anything remotely sensible, so he says the dumbest thing possible. I'm glad he's too stupid to have guile, though: some of his most stalwart conservative supporters are turning on him after this dipshittery and that never would have happened if he was able to control himself.

I think though if you come from the point of view that Putin is the only person (outside of Mueller maybe) that he is afraid of, his need to say something diplomatic at the meeting was only in regard to him making Russia look good to Republican voters, who are increasingly gaining positive views of Putin and Russia up to 25% (which is why Putin went on Fox for his interview following the summit), and this is scary, polling is showing that the majority of Republican voters do not believe that Russia tried to hack the election. I mean look at the response on here from the Trump nuthuggers, it isn't outrage, it is "show us the server" and "what, did you expect Trump to start screaming at Putin" and "bbbut Obama".

Trump got some serious pushing (behind the scenes of course) to come out clearly in favor of US intelligence tonight, but even then he didn't go after Putin and his wording was almost hypothetical (e.g. "you would have to hold Putin responsible"). Trump is only an idiot if you consider things like truth, facts, and history as the criteria for rational and reasonable behavior, and the people who support him don't care about that. It's disturbing but true. He can clearly say no to a question from a reporter and his defenders will say, and believe, that he didn't mean no. He can say that he misspoke would for wouldn't, and his supporters will ignore everything else he said that day that makes that clearly bullshit.

Well lets wait and find out shall we. Thats why its called an investigation.

So you are convinced that "[Trump] will go down for many things", but you don't know what a single one of them is.

Mueller will indict and if he cant by law, he will recommended to Rosenstein to indict. Once midterms are done, Congress will be jumping off the Trump train.

I'm confident you're wrong.

I doubt you have the confidence to have a bet on the matter.

You would prefer to run your mouth than to risk anything.

Real men are willing to risk something, no matter how small, to stand behind their beliefs.

Little boys like to fill up space on a karate forum pushing their wacko uninformed conspiracy theories.

The Trump admin got rid of the cybersecurity coordinator role (https://www.nytimes.com/2018/05/15/technology/white-house-cybersecurity.html …) and now the refuses to fund election security. If only we knew why.

If only we knew why Trump was being so much harder on Russia than Obama.
  • About 200 Russians were killed in Trump's airstrikes in Syria (April 2017)
  • Trump has armed Ukraine with Javelin missile complexes (Obama refused), and Russia issued an angry denunciation in response. (December 2017)
  • Trump's Treasury Department sanctioned seven Russian oligarchs, 12 companies they controlled and 17 senior Russian officials (April 2018)

That's only a small sample. It's easy to buy into nutjob conspiracy theories when you willingly ignore evidence.
