International Trump/Putin Summit

This presser sort of shows how clueless journalists have become recently. "Mr Ptin, do you have compromising information on president Trump?"

What a pointless question. What was he expecting? "Well as a matter of fact, here are some compromising pictures!"

During the interview Trump said that Putin extended an "incredible offer" to allow American investigators to work with Russian investigators in order to figure out the Truth regarding the 12 indicted GRU agents and the supposed election meddling.

Again this all makes perfect sense, we're just not in the proper dimension of Chess to see it. Who knows the henhouse better than the fox?

Fiscal policy could get run off a cliff again. We've already lost the Supreme Court for a generation, which is bad enough. The fallout from deregulation is going to suck for many people in many ways. Those things are all bad but recoverable. I guess it's hard to predict, but the general sense of danger is very high. Is there something more specific you expect domestically (we can all agree that deep damage is being done internationally)?
I see a huge rise in poverty and homelessness brought on by a surge in unemployment as the trade war takes effect, and as entitlements are taken from those on the very edge of getting by already.

Essentially, a recession coming sooner rather than later. Also, there is going to be violence during the run up to the election.

I don't know what all the criticism is about. Trump is just copying Regan's approach to policies.
Its called early signs of dementia.

No doge meme to accompany.

-5/10, would not read again... I want my 2 seconds back.

People also legitimately expect Trump to acknowledge that Putin "handed him the election".

This is politics, folks. You don't give up anything for free.

Put any politician in Trump's position and they wouldn't acknowledge it, either.

Trump is the one who wanted to meet Putin. It was his idea.

Stephen Miller is going to disembowel a chicken on the floor of the oval office, and the Trump administration will tell us of the portents.

The expectations people had for Trump today , they had them because they knew he wouldn't do those things. If anyone believed Trump was going to use that presser as stage to go off on Putin, they are mentally deficient.
