I used to love the smell coming from the Olliebollen stands at Christmas in Amsterdam but I think they were plain and didn't buy any anyway. I feel like I've missed out on this whole specific donut shop experience.

I could definitely try and make my own apple and custard donuts but if I fucked it up I'd be pretty pissed off.
