Law Trump picks Fox News host for Defense Secretary

Because in the end people like him know they don't have valid shit to say but just hate Trump.
It's perfectly valid to say a guy without the senior-level experience needed for the job is a bad pick. You nincompoops have offered no reasons why this overtly political pick of a profoundly unqualified person was actually a good choice.

He is not the first, nor the last you could say that about.

I can show you 2 examples of home grown CEOs albeit they are entrepreneurs
Jeff Bezos
Elon Musk
They had no business running those mammoth businesses but they obviously did great
They had the advantage of being able to learn as their companies grew. That ain't the DoD, it's already grown. There was also a lot of handholding for both as they learned their jobs. Again, not what we want from this position.
You asked for TEN!

fucking 10
Or I can just make up shit up if you like
No I asked which SODs were less qualified. This also just basic civic knowledge.

The left won't be happy with anyone he picks, especially if that person isn't going to start a war.

His other picks have been perfectly within the realm of reasonable. May not like them or their policies, but they don't have awful credentials.

This is like hiring a forklift operator to run Amazon. Only a total hack like you would be alright with it.

I do find it funny that most of the leftist news outlets are putting out quotes from the defense industry people hating on it saying that it is proof that he's not qualified. Perhaps this is an indicator of being the right pick? Not part of the military industrial complex, looking to completely overhaul how the military works, maybe not so great for people making weapons as he's 100% against forever wars.
Who was the last sod with no experience managing high level federal portfolios or big departments and orgs?
See the issue you are having is you define every role a previous SOD had in the government as some sore of huge role when most of them are just positions given for kissing ass and your underlings do all the actual work. I would say a Major in the army is more than qualified to run the DOD in most cases. It's like anything else in the government it's who you know, not what you know, that's what most of these SOD have in common. Almost none of them were probably the best person for the job.

Defense spending is going to go up, you think contractors are hurting lol. And who are these defense industry people hating?

More qualified than director of the CIA or assistant SOD? Lol

TS wants these type of people in charge of America's national security.

Ahh, I must have missed this when it was first posted. You guys made it to post #12 before you started whining about trannies this time haha.

It's an immutable law of The War Room at this point: no matter the topic, Trumpists will start talking about trannies.

That's because 100% of them are mentally ill and leftists treat them like some brave heroes.

You are completely fucking dense, that's becoming clear.

#1- He is not in the pockets of the contractors like pretty much every SOD has been. He's likely to be getting into fewer wars and military actions we are involved in will be resolved quickly with overwhelming force rather than long term grinds as we have had for decades. This means not a much of steady stream of money going to contractors.

#2- Yes, I would take a major in the army over some ass-kisser who got the CIA directorship without being qualified and then the SOD based on being the CIA director.

curious why he will likely be "getting into fewer wars"?

So an ivy league education is now acceptable to MAGA republicans?

Its kind of funny how MAGA republicans always looked down on those who attended ivy league colleges. Using it as a crutch to show their disconnect from the average american. Not comprehending how Trump/Vance would be deemed the "Elites" this last presidential cycle.

Well Trump is likely to keep us out of wars and Hegseth's views are definitely not hawkish. He believes we should be either involved and end it quickly with overwhelming force or stay out of it altogether. So all of these things we are dabbling in like Ukraine we are likely to stay out of it altogether rather than provide endless money and materials.
