Law Trump just pardoned 1.5k rioters and Proud Boys.....

Keep in mind... they did 4 years and NEVER found guilty of "insurrection".

Not sure about the state you are in but.....

In Tennessee, assaulting a police officer is a Class E felony, which carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 60 days in jail and a $10,000 fine. The penalty can be increased to a Class C felony if the assault involved a deadly weapon or caused serious bodily harm.

So uuuuummm... exactly how long did you want them to continue being in jail? Just curious.
What’s the max sentence in DC?

No less than 1 year and up to 10 years here for aggravated assault of an officer here in Louisiana. For the ones who hospitalized those cops, they should be serving out that max imo.

Minimum 3 years dc

Destruction of property and the lasting effects on the areas is fucked up. Those 2020 riots were horseshit.
Not to mention all of the shop keepers that got killed or assaulted. Thousands of cops getting assaulted with life lasting injuries. Plus 90% of all rioters across the US never got caught. Even most of the CHAZ/CHOPPers got off scot free.

Said it once and I'll say it again, there was no comparison.

Any yet many of them committed ZERO assault but was expected to stay jail forever? Either way... 4 years in jail was enough. Done and done. On to the next news cycle.

Im only concerned about the many who assaulted the cops. Idgaf about the rest.

My concern was about those also and was on record before many on this board saying they deserved jail time. Well.... they got it. Done and done. On to the next news cycle.

I'm sure you'll be consistent with that standard when it comes to people trying to kill police officers in the future, right?
Who tried to kill police officers? Heck, the J6 rioters didn't even bring guns to the capitol with them. Anyways... When was I "not" consistent with people trying to kill police? I totally condemned those 2020 rioters that killed David Dorn (a name that most lefties avoid at all costs). And will condemn them/rioters in the future.

So tasering an officer in the neck multiple times, beating them, attempting to take their gun, doesn't count? Fuck off.

OK yeah I think I heard of that incident. Glad that guy ended up in jail. But you made it sound like it was all 1500 of them that tried to killed officers. Fuck off.

I described what Daniel Rodriguez did and plead guilty to. He served less than 3 years of a 12 year sentence.

Rodriguez, of Fontana, California, used a stun gun and plunged it into the neck of Washington Police Officer Michael Fanone multiple times. Fanone has been one of the most vocal critics of the rioters.

Rodriguez traveled to Washington with fellow Trump supporters who belonged to a Telegram group called the “PATRIOTS 45 MAGA Gang.” Prosecutors said he was the administrator of the group.

“There will be blood,” Rodriguez wrote in a “MAGA Gang” Telegram chat the night before the Jan. 6 attack. “Welcome to the revolution.”

He would go on to attend Trump’s rally at the Ellipse. On Jan. 6, after having joined the fight in the Capitol’s Lower West Tunnel, Rodriguez attacked Fanone. He later bragged about his actions in the Telegram chat, writing: “Omg I did so much f---ing s--- rn [right now] and got away,” and “Tazzed the f--- out of the blue.”

He pleaded guilty in February 2023 to felony conspiracy, obstruction of an official proceeding, tampering with documents or proceedings and inflicting bodily injury on officers using a deadly or dangerous weapon. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Ahead of his sentencing, Rodriguez said in a rambling 20-minute speech that he “truly” thought a civil war was going to begin and that he believed the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers formed because police were standing down across the country. He acknowledged his actions against Fanone but did not apologize.

I never claimed all 1500 of them tried to kill police officers, moron. But Trump pardoned the people that tried anyway. And you can't deny that FACT.

Good, they were patriots who were betrayed by the deep state. Hopefully Trump hunts down the people responsible for the psy op and punishes them like the traitors to the American people and the Constitution that they are.

I can't imagine typing this and thinking it came off as edgy.

Do none of you slow brains understand the concept of trying to hard?

Not enough imo. And many of them had prior violent felonies (one just got arrested again). Those kind of people should stay locked up. I feel terrible for their victims.

So when you’re sentenced to say 10 years you actually only serve 8.5 years if you do your full sentence, and depending on the state, over crowding, etc you could do as little as 1/3. My question is is the 1/3 based on the 10 year sentence or 8.5? Just so I can math it out.

For the one who was just arrested, since he was pardoned can Jan 6 even be used against him? If it was clemency or commuted then it could still be used against him right?

does this mean Iced Earth is getting back together ?
