Law Trump just pardoned 1.5k rioters and Proud Boys.....

Stop. You know why you put his picture up and not the guy with the hat.

If his shirt made you feel some kind of way, you REALLY need to look at yourself. To me? He's just another lawbreaker.

You can deflect all you want, but you posted it because the shirt made you feel a certain way. Which is what you want to avoid when deciding legal punishments for someones actions. Its completely immaterial to whether he should be legally punished or pardoned.

But this conversation is obviously not going to go anywhere. Can we agree violent offenders should not be pardoned? However, there is probably a large amount of people that have more than served their time?

First part

That's your opinion and you're entitled to it.

Second part

Dura lex, Sed lex.

"The law is harsh, but it is the law."

Did he commit violent acts against peace officers? Or, is it simply his fashion that's the problem?

Well, I'm not going to nitpick since he was arrested and pled guilty before a judge. Therein lies my problem.

Of 1500 Jan 6 people convicted what were the range of time they were looking at?

It has been one day since anyone of the Jan 6ers that were pardoned have been re-arrested.
How long of a streak do we make it until another one is arrested again.
At least the guy who was throwing explosive devices at Capital Police is back off the street before he tries to harm anymore police officers.

Jesus, you act like they're Al-Queda members or something.

President's have pardoned pieces of shit for a long time. Not condoning it, but zero modern president's are exempt from it. None of these people are the worst of the lot that have received pardons. Literal murderers have received pardons and you're keeping track of the recividism of people that at worst have assault?

You may OK with someone throwing explosive devices at Police Officers, I am not. The fact other shit heads were pardoned does not make pardoning a guy who tries to beat up police any better.
There is a reason Police Unions are not happy with Trump and some have rescinded their endorsement because Trump pardoned guys who committed violence against the police.
The only reason I think you are doing the whataboutism is because you hate police officers.

Who said I was ok with it? You guys can't stop being disengenous for a single post. I've posted numerous times violent offenders shouldn't have been pardoned.

Yes. My opinion is clothes dont indicate guilt or make a crime worse.

Correct. 4 years is too long a sentence for trespassing.

He could've worn a clown suit for all I care, but he pled guilty before a judge and was sentenced accordingly.

Biden commuted the sentence of actual murderers.... Who killed innocent people, including children

Condemn Biden first and then come back here.

Personally? Most of these protestors deserved some kind of punishment... but many of the sentences were extremely excessive. 22 Years? There's felons who've murdered children who have gotten less than that.

But meh... I don't care for the most part anymore and a majority of US Citizens don't either. Otherwise, Trump wouldn't' have been elected.

Stop comparing J6 to Pearl Harbor and 9/11.... It's ridiculously hyperbolic and stupid. lol
You guys always love to say that J6 wasn’t a coup or insurrection—but to Enrique Tarrio it absolutely was. This POS actually planed an armed overthrow of the government. His charges were serious AF and it should sentenced seriously unless you want violent motherfuckers trying this every time an election doesn’t go their way.
People should get long sentences for that, and he should’ve served every second.

He didn’t get comminuted, he got pardoned fully. It’s a pretty far cry from commuting someone like Leonard Pelletier, whom no one can even prove killed the dude he was convicted of killing, serving 50 years, being 80 years old in bad health who is just going to go home to die. Tarrio served jack shit of his sentence, and is already calling for retribution.

Who specifically was sentenced unfairly and is still serving their time when they shouldn’t be?

You're a black man in America yeah? You should well know of the justice systems tactics of over charging crimes to get defendants to cop to lesser charges. Many times regardless of guilt and evidence. Its a tactic well used on poors, minorities, etc.
