Law Trump just pardoned 1.5k rioters and Proud Boys.....

Have you ever heard the expression, "innocent until proven guilty"? Do you have trouble distinguishing between giving pardons to people who were convicted based upon clear and indisputable evidence and helping people who are accused of crimes to make bail? Seriously?
Andy stop. You cannot be trying to pull the I believe in innocence until proven guilty i this one case when you literally assume guilt when ever it’s a right wing person being accused of anything. You can’t be.

Can anyone confirm if he pardoned the violent rioters too? People that attacked police directly?
It seems that he pardoned everyone, except for the ones that were convicted of Seditious Conspiracy, he just commuted their sentences without the pardon. Asking this question though makes me cautiously optimistic that you don't agree with those actions.

4 years for rioting is more than enough of a prison sentence. I don't know why people are thinking they should get life in prison. If they brought guns, then it should automatically be life sentences.

Between all of these pardons on both sides and the government and the elites in general just doing whatever the fuck it wants while the plebs have to follow rules, I think it's pretty apparent that we live in a banana republic. You can be rich and/or in politics and just do whatever you want. This isn't a free country where the rules are equally applied to everyone, it's a dystopian corporatocracy. People need to stop worrying about which side is worse and start realizing that these people, on both sides, are out to hurt you and your loved ones
Quoting so it can be read again

It’s not fair that a retired officer was actually fatally shot during a BLM riot, others assaulted but it’s only pointed out the assault on the capitol officers.

It’s not similar bc one group stands accused and the other has been convicted in a court of law.
One was a group the state supported rioting and causing chaos, the other was meant to be an example.

That's the real difference. Well that and that the Floyd rioters caused billions in damage and actually killed people in the streets.

Raising bail for those arrested at a riot, pardoning those arrested and some tried some not yet tried for the Jan 7th riot…….tell me how it’s not similar.

Tell me you don't know the difference without telling me you don't know the difference.

You know his killer is in jail for life without parole, yes?

Just stop panic googling already, lmao.

Oh that’s right it’s not fair the blm rioters were offered bail while Jan 6 rioters not yet tried were held without bail.

lol ok

That was literally done on a case by case scenario for both groups

I'm not good with that. The violent ones should have to do their time. My only exception would be if a judge gave them extraordinary time in relation to their crime compared to others.

Trump fucked this up. He should have let those that attacked police stay in their cells.
Holy shit, bro, your best post ever. Bravo! {<redford}

Jan. 6 rioter who brought guns onto US Capitol grounds sentenced to 5 years in jail

Centralia man pleads guilty to bringing gun to Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021

Arrested after a fatal stabbing, a Utah man told police he brought a gun to Capitol riot

these fine heaps of maga trash brought guns to the capitol, but i'm guessing that they probably shouldn't be given life sentences now should they? no, not like that right?

Should be punished for smearing shit on a wall. He already has a year in for time served.

Some deserved prison if they were violent.

But some of these guys were just goofs in costumes.
Shit guy deserved a couple months and a fine. Anyone hitting cops starts at a year and goes to 5 depending. So yeah about how they should be getting out.

Why do we have two threads on the same topic right above/below each other?

I think he should have gone over the cases and not just a blanket pardon for everyone.
