Yes, but you're still dim enough to even possibly think thats who Trump is and that what he actually does.. raping women, bankrupting contractors and not paying them breaking fighters and not paying them after they fight in his casinos suing people, endlessly illegal actions bullying the whole world, alienating our allies while befriending our enemies and dictators around the world etc etc.
You are shallow enough as a human being to believe that his ability to be humorous and self-effacing at a dinner changes anything about who Trump is or lightens the blow in any way. If you had your head on straight, you would at least be seeing that if he is capable of that, he's more dangerous than we thought, not less ...
But being such a deep thinker, you won't have those thoughts.

What it is is psychologically weak people that can't handle the real danger of the times we're living in needing to soften the blow by humanizing the monster.
If a right-winger does that about Hitler in another thread you will rightly shame that person for bringing up his good qualities. You should do the same thing here with Bill Maher and Trump.
